With the school summer holidays in full swing now is the perfect time to bag a discount on new cabin bags and carry-ons. With lots of deals to be found on Amazon, it’s not too late to snap up some reduced hand luggage.
As families head off on well-earned getaways, hand luggage restrictions can put a dampener on the spirits of excited overpackers. But, with so many pieces of luggage available to buy, there should be no need to worry about excess luggage fees at the airport.
Even holidaymakers who have left it to the last minute could still be in luck, with next day delivery available on many items for Amazon Prime members. With reductions on big name brands, we’ve found discounts on big brands including Antler, Samsonite, Nere and more.

To make it easier for Amazon shoppers, we’ve rounded up some of the best deals from Amazon and other retailers to help you find the perfect size and style for your next trip.
British Airways
To make it even easier to find the perfect bag for summer holiday adventures, we’ve broken down the best Amazon bargains by Airline. From the underseat heroes permitted on Ryanair to the far more spacious dimensions allowed on the likes of British Airways and Jet2, there are deals to be found.
As the flag carrier for the UK, British Airways likes to market its seats to the discerning traveller who no doubt carries luggage to suit. Whether you are flying long-haul or somewhere closer to home, they are strict about how much can be taken onboard.
Each passenger can bring one cabin bag or case measuring no more than 56 x 40 x 23cm and one personal item measuring no more than 40 x 30 x 15cm, and passengers must be able to lift them into the overhead lockers.
EasyJet
The budget airline allows each passenger to bring one cabin bag measuring no more than 45 x 36 x 25cm and weighing no more than 15kg on board with them. This is slightly smaller than the normal rules for cabin cases so passengers are advised to always measure bags before they fly.
Some of the best cabin bags and cases for easyJet passengers include:
Ryanair
Ryanair is strict regarding hand luggage and if any bags exceed the airline’s size restrictions, they will be placed in the airport’s cargo hold and passengers will need to pay excess baggage fee at check-in.
The rules may be strict on Ryanair, but they are pretty straightforward. All ticket holders are entitled to bring on a small bag measuring no more than 40cm x 20cm x 25cm, that must fit into the sizer and must not weigh any more than 10kg.
Priority boarding passengers can also bring a larger cabin bag (55 x 40 x 20cm) with a maximum weight allowance of 10kg into the cabin free of charge.
While the dimensions for the free cabin bag allowance are diminutive, they are not impossible to live with. In fact, one Ryanair-size cabin bag was so impressive it actually went viral on TikTok. Costing £9.99, the little Narwey bag made a big dent on social media and I even tried one to see what the fuss was all about. You can read my thoughts on it here.
Other compact bags that will meet the underseat measurements on Ryanair include:
Jet2
Whether its for a summer holiday or simply just taking a flight with Jet2, the cabin bag restrictions remain the same. One piece of hand luggage per passenger is free of charge, as long as it weighs no more than 10kg and is no larger than 56cm x 45cm x 25cm.
Being just a teeny bit larger than the other airlines, Jet2 offers one of the most generous cabin bag allowances in the UK.
Save a few quid to stash a few more bits with these larger size cabin cases:
TUI
The holiday company allows one piece of hand luggage measuring no more than 55 x 40 x 20cm. It must weigh no more than 10kg and be able to be lifted into the overhead locker. This rule remains the same for passengers travelling on a package holiday or a flight-only basis.
As a pretty standard size allowance for a larger piece of hand luggage, most cabin cases and bags will fit the bill.
With so many to choose from, there are thousands of reviews to look through on Amazon. One shopper who snapped up the VANKEV Ryanair Cabin Bag gave it five-stars, saying: “I have just bought the VANKEV Ryanair Cabin Bag for an upcoming trip, and I have to say, it really impressed me. The size is just right for under seat storage, fitting perfectly within airline guidelines.”
Another who purchased the Nere Stori Cabin Case was very impressed, saying: “This small carry-on suitcase really is one of the best I’ve tried. Whether you are going away for a weekend or taking it on a flight, this case really is perfect for travel.”
Buyers who purchased the ever-popular Ryanair Narwey Bag have also left glowing reviews, saying: “This bag is brilliant to take on the plane it sits under the seat and is very roomy. Perfect for budget airlines.”
Not all customers were quite so impressed. One customer who purchased the Kono Cabin Case, said: “Smaller than advertised by >2cm in each dimension Handle very flimsy – will break with any strong force.”
