5 cosy gift ideas for every family member this Christmas

From M&S to Dunelm and The Oodie to Next, we’ve scoured the high street to share our top gifts from the biggest retailers

With the cold weather upon us and gifting season just around the corner, we’ve been scouring the high street for the best toasty buys, from dressing gowns that feel like a hug, to a warming discounted electric blanket and a festive throw.

Whether shopping for kids, teens, or grandparents, we’ve compiled a list of snuggly pressies for all the family. There are top cosy picks from Dunelm and Next right through to The Oodie and M&S, offering a present for every budget.

Keep scrolling to shop our cosy gifting picks for Christmas 2025.

The Oodie One Piece Collection

The Oodie’s super snuggly One Piece Collection includes a sherpa dressing gown, blankets, and an Oodie Original. The latter retails for £79 and boasts a sherpa fleece lining and an oversized hood for extra cosiness. One for the Straw Hat Crew Fans, it boasts a Jolly Roger print with a Thousand Sunny pocket.

Shoppers can also snap up the One Piece Luffy Sherpa Blanket which is also available to pre order in both single and queen sizes. It’s machine washable and pill resistant making it a practical yet fun gift for fans. If that doesn’t take their fancy, then might we suggest the One Piece Group Sherpa Blanket which also has all the cosiness of an Oodie but in a blanket form.

While we think fans will snap up the items which are currently in high demand on the Oodie website, it’s worth noting that the pieces in the range boast loud colours meaning they may not suit every bedroom or every shopper’s taste.

Despite this, we reckon the range will be a Christmas hit for many, and the final item to shop is the Luffy Dressing Gown which is available in sizes S/M, L/XL, and 2XL/3XL. Featuring Straw Hat Crew’s Jolly Roger on the back, Luffy on the pocket, and a Luffy signature yellow waist tie, it’s a must-have for any fan.

Dunelm Ladies Cosy Boucle Pyjama Set

Dunelm may not be the first retailer that springs to mind when thinking about pyjamas, but shoppers have been left seriously impressed with the brand’s Cosy Boucle Pyjama Set. Retailing for £28, they’re available in UK sizes 8-10, 12-24, and 16-18.

Featuring a snuggly boucle material, we’d go as far as to say they double as loungewear and could be worn running errands with a jacket and trainers. One shopper who bought the set said: “Lovely, cosy pyjamas that are soft and comfortable to wear. The colour of these is very autumnal too, perfect for the colder weather.”

Despite this, it’s worth noting that this shopper found an issue with the elastic waistband, commenting: “Love these as they’re super cosy but the waistband elastic broke after 3 wears.”

However, another said: “Bought as a gift, well received, washes well. Very comfortable to wear.”

M&S Knitted Fair Isle Throw

M&S’ Knitted Fair Isle Throw, £35, is ideal for anyone wanting to get into the festive spirit. Perfect for draping over a sofa or bed, it can also be used to snuggle under on colder evenings. We love the pink Christmas tree design with the pops of red for adding a splash of colour to any room.

The throw is new to the M&S website so currently has no reviews, but we think it’ll sell fast given its reasonable price point for gifting. Boasting a soft knitted material, it’s both practical and pretty. One drawback is that the item may not get much use after the festive season due to the Christmas-themed design, but we think it’s a great investment that the lucky recipient can dig out year after year.

Next Pink Stripe Cosy Dressing Gown

Next dressing gowns are among some of the best on the high street and we love this pink stripe design, £35, that looks way more expensive than its price tag. Available in sizes S-2XL, we’d suggest sizing up for a super cosy oversized feel.

Ideal for cold evenings at home, we reckon it’s bound to make getting out of bed that teeny bit easier on frosty mornings. Whilst the item currently has no reviews on the Next website, we’ve noticed the gown looks relatively long on the model which some shorter users may find isn’t to their liking. Despite this, we love the pretty design and practical pockets for chilling at home on lazy weekend mornings.

Silentnight Comfort Control Electric Blanket

The Silentnight Comfort Control Electric Blanket has been slashed in price at Amazon by 37% in a Super King size taking it to £34.50 from £55 and shoppers have left the item rave reviews. The blanket, which is also shoppable in single, double, and king designs can be used in bed to ward off the chills on cold winter evenings.

Costing from just 1p to heat a bed, the item boasts an overheat protection auto shut off feature and four heat settings with an ultra fast heat up time. It’s worth noting that one buyer did mention they had an issue with the fit, commenting: “I bought a Super King but it’s not a Super King size, gaps down each side.”

However, another shopper who reviewed the electric blanket said: “This is the third time I will be buying this blanket. One on every bed in my house. The blanket heat up quickly. No regrets.”
