Got an old Fire TV Stick? Give it to Amazon and you’ll get something new for less than half price
Amazon is back with a new deal on its popular Fire TV Sticks and it’s worth considering if your current streamer is well past its best. The latest offer from the online retailer can bag you a new Fire TV Stick for less than half the usual price. That’s thanks to a hefty discount along with even more money off when you trade in what you currently own.
The deal is based on the standard Fire TV Stick which usually costs £44.99. That has been dropped to just £24.99 for a limited time but then there’s a further 20% reduction if you give Amazon your ageing device.

As a quick reminder, the Fire TV Stick offers access to HD streams along with fast buttons which take you straight to premium apps such Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime Video and Prime Music. You can also watch a swathe of free shows via apps such Freevee, BBC iPlayer and ITVX.
There’s also instant access to Alexa to help you find things to watch, set timers and pause content using just your voice.

Before you hit the buy button be aware that this is not the most recently released Fire TV Stick and and update could be coming soon. Amazon refreshed its 4K and 4K Max devices last year with both getting better processors and more features such as Wi-Fi 6 compatibility.
Amazon is well known for holding events in the autumn and the standard Fire TV and Fire TV Stick are both overdue a refresh.
