As we head into November, that can only mean one thing: Black Friday. This year, the epic sales event falls on November 29, with countless brands slashing prices through to Cyber Monday on December 2.
And although that’s still weeks away, many retailers have kicked things off early. We’ve already brought you our best early Black Friday deals from the likes of Virgin Media, Apple, Samsung and Dyson, but as more and more brands are joining the fun, we thought we’d take a look at some newly launched deals on smart TVs for this edition of our Top Tech series.
We’ve pulled together some of our favourite deals on smart TVs for a range of budgets from Currys, Very, Amazon and Sky. So if you’re in the market for a shiny new TV just in time for Christmas, these models are definitely worth considering.

Currys
Currys has knocked hundreds off a range of smart TVs from top brands like Samsung, LG and Hisense. The retailer is also throwing in four months of Apple TV+ for free with all purchases until December 2, plus big discounts on select soundbars.
The larger discounts tend to be available on the more expensive items, like this 65” LG B4 OLED 4K smart TV, which, even with £600 off, comes in at £1,499. But there’s reduced TVs available for any budget, with even the lower-cost items boasting premium quality.
The 75” Samsung Crystal UHD 4K smart TV is from the tech brand’s new 2024 range and is now £120 off at £679 – the cheapest it’s ever been at Currys. It comes in a range of screen sizes from 43” to 85”, each boasting crystal clear PurColour, 4K upscaling and Object Tracking Sound Lite for targeted audio.
For those looking for great picture quality without breaking the bank, the 55” Hisense 4K HDR smart TV is down £50 to £309. This may not be the biggest discount we’ve seen, but Hisense gives shoppers the chance to snap up a wide range of 4K TVs that offer excellent value for money without scrimping on quality – this model has racked up an impressive 4.7-star rating, with buyers saying it’s ‘definitely worth the money’.
On the lower end of the price spectrum, the 43” Toshiba HD Fire TV is on offer at £198, down from £229. While its picture and sound quality won’t match that of the higher-end models, this is a great budget-friendly TV for a bedroom or for the kids.
Very
Very is also getting in on the Black Friday action, with more than 100 smart TVs now available with some eye-catching discounts. There’s an ideal mid-range option with the 50” LG NanoCell 4K smart TV that’s reduced by £151 to £448 and offers more realistic colours than lower models – whether watching movies, sports or gaming – for a decent price.
There’s also the 43” LG QNED 4K smart TV that’s seen a £201.99 discount down to £398. If you’re not familiar with QNED, it’s a perfect middle ground between OLED and QLED and a good option if you don’t fancy paying the hefty price tag that comes with most OLED TVs.
But if you are looking to push the boat out, it doesn’t get much better than Samsung. The tech brand has recently launched its new range of OLED devices, including the 55” S93D OLED HDR+ 4K smart TV, which is available with a mega £900 price drop and £100 cashback.
This model comes with stunning picture quality, an anti-reflection screen and Dolby Atmos sound, but with high quality comes high prices. This TV usually costs £2,099, but shoppers can snap it up for £1,099 after claiming the cashback from Samsung.
Amazon
Amazon is yet to unveil its own Black Friday deals, but that doesn’t mean you have to wait to bag a bargain. The retail giant regularly updates its site with countless deals on TVs from all the big brands, as well as its own Fire TVs.
The first that caught our eye is the 32” Hisense Full HD QLED smart TV that’s 40% off at £199, down from £329. It’s certainly not the largest TV on the market, but it’s not every day you can bag a QLED TV for under £200.
It would make an ideal device for a smaller bedroom or kitchen, with buyers hailing it as a ‘very good TV at a great price’. Towards the higher end, the 55” Hisense ULED smart TV is almost half price at £699, down from £1,299.
If you’ve not heard of ULED – short for Ultra LED – before, it’s Hisense’s own technology that’s an upgrade from a standard LED TV. It displays a wider range of colours than LED models with more than one billion different shades, plus deeper blacks and UltraSmooth Motion, which stops fast-paced action appearing blurred.
In Amazon’s own Fire TV range, the best quality comes in the Omni QLED series, with prices currently starting at £379.99 for the 43” model. This is the highest-spec Fire TV Amazon offers, but there’s also the cheaper 4K 4-series from £279.99 and entry level HD 2-Series from £179.99.
Sky
Sky is also keeping us waiting for its Black Friday sale, but its existing Sky Glass deal is worth considering if you fancy watching the best Sky and Netflix titles on a shiny new TV. Sky Glass is the brand’s own 4K QLED smart TV that comes with Sky channels and streaming apps built in.
It comes in three sizes ranging from 43” to 65”, with prices currently starting at £14 a month. A Sky Glass package consists of two parts: the TV itself and Sky’s Entertainment and Netflix package.
The TV costs £14 for the 43” model when spreading the cost, with the Entertainment and Netflix package costing £28 a month. But Sky’s latest deal means you pay nothing for Sky channels and Netflix for the first three months, so you’ll only pay £14 – a saving of £84.
After the three-months are up, the price will revert to £42 for a 4K QLED smart TV, hundreds of premium channels like Sky Atlantic, and a Netflix subscription. You also have the option to return the TV for free within 31 days if you decide it’s not for you.
For more Black Friday bargains, our team of shopping experts has chosen a range of other early deals from retailers like Ninja, Shark and Oodie, which you can find here.
