Teenage OnlyFans millionaire Paris Ow-Yang was found wandering around Sydney by friends having downed alcohol and blacked out on the night of an incident that led to her being charged with assault
A teenage OnlyFans star and millionaire downed cocktails and champagne before committing an assault.
Paris Ow-Yang, 19, was charged with common assault, damaging property and two counts of intimidation in relation to an incident that occurred in Sydney, Australia in November. Waverley Local Court was told how Ow-Yang, who also has a property empire believed to be worth around £5million, blacked out prior to the incident having consumed cocktails and “four glasses of champagne” at an influencer event.
Lawyer Michael Bowe told a magistrate on Wednesday that Ow-Yang had long suffered from mental health issues, arguing the case should be dealt with under a Section 14 order. In Australian law, a Section 14 order allows a defendant with a mental health or cognitive impairment to be diverted out of the criminal justice system. However, Magistrate Paul Mulroney said such an order was “not appropriate” in Ow-Yang’s case.
The court previously heard how she suffered from anxiety and depression following the breakdown of her parents’ marriage. Mr Bowe explained how she was found “wandering around Double Bay” by some friends on the night of the incident.
He said his client had no recollection of what happened, adding: “She’s doing her best to get her life back on track.” He also discussed how online trolling had impacted her mental health, and described the incident in November as a “one-off explosion”. The OnlyFans star pleaded guilty and was sentenced to a conditional release order without convictions. She must also undergo treatment and not consume alcohol for 15 months.
Ow-Yang has millions of followers across several social media sites. She decided to join OnlyFans when she was 18 and has made a fortune from adult content. The Mirror previously reported how she was among the top 0.02% creators on OnlyFans, attracting more than 40,000 views per post.
She is the daughter of well-known neurosurgeon Michael Ow Yang and wife Amanda, and went to the prestigious Frensham School. She said previously: “Both my parents are extremely proud of what I have been able to achieve. They are now fully supportive of what I love to do.”
In October last year Ow-Yang was charged with drink driving after crashing her Mercedes. She had reportedly “drowned herself in alcohol” after splitting up with 44-year-old nightclub tycoon Julian Tobias. The teen was fined over that incident and given a two-year correction order.
