The High Waisted Wide Leg Ankle Grazer Jeans from Marks & Spencer are currently proving hugely popular, having garnered a rating of 4.6 stars online. The jeans have racked up hundreds of five star reviews, with many shoppers praising them as “flattering”, “comfortable” and particularly for their short length, making them popular with petite customers.
Among the many reviews, one shopper said: “Perfect wide leg jeans. These are lovely! A great amount of stretch helps them sit perfectly. I’m petite but ordered these to be full length and they are perfect. A good wide leg and high waist. Super soft and comfy. I’m going to buy another colour.”
A second impressed customer wrote: “I’m not usually a fan of trousers or jeans, but wanted to try the new wide leg jeans that all the go right now. These jeans however are the most comfortable jeans ever, so much so I bought two pairs…I bought my usual size 10 which was perfect and would definitely recommend these jeans without hesitation.”
A third added: “I’m 5ft 1” and ordered a regular length and they fit me as a full length which is what I wanted. They are true to size, I’m a plus size and love had lots of compliments. I’ve now purchased 3 pairs… that’s how much I love them…”
Another wrote: “I’m 5 foot tall and the petite fit beautifully but, on me they are not ankle grazers. As I’m not keen on ankle grazing trousers these are perfect. I’m a bit of an apple shape too but as these are high waisted they are very flattering. They are well worth the money.”
However, some shoppers were less impressed with the jeans. Some claimed they wished the jeans had front pockets for a number of reasons.
One person said: “Very comfy jeans but with no front pockets and high thin waistband they made my tummy look huge. I’m 5ft and the short length was full length on me (which I liked).”
Another added: “Nice material, good fit. But, tummy sticks out without front pockets… the jeans also have no side seams which is weird and makes them stick out like a triangle!! Will return.”
