Nicholas Galitzine has shocked fans by revealing a major body transformation for his upcoming role as He-Man in the live-action movie Masters of the Universe – and they’re all drooling over him.
Over the past few months, social media users have noticed a change in Galitzine’s physical appearance, speculating that it could be for a new role. Earlier this year, during a photoshoot for W magazine, the actor revealed that he was “in the middle of a bulk,” sparking curiosity about what he was working on.
Trading his boy-band charm his superhero transformation, the 30-year-old British actor shared some exciting news on Instagram as he teased the first look of himself as Prince Adam of Eternia. He captioned the image: “After several months of intense training, I’m thrilled to share that we’re officially in production on #MastersOfTheUniverse.”
The photo shows him shirtless, revealing an incredibly buff physique while holding his character’s iconic Power Sword. He continued: “Our director, Travis Knight, has assembled the most incredible cast and created a stunning tapestry of Eternia and its surrounding world. I can’t wait for you to see it. More to come, but until then, here’s a sneak peek at the Sword of Power. By the power of Grayskull!”
In less than a day, the post accumulated over 300,000 likes, with fans flooding the comments section to compliment the actor on his transformation, noting how different he looks compared to his previous roles.

Galitzine rose to fame as Prince Robert in the 2021 Amazon musical adaptation of Cinderella, starring alongside singer Camila Cabello. Since then, he has gained wider recognition for his roles in Purple Hearts, Red, White & Royal Blue, and The Idea of You alongside Anne Hathaway.
Masters of the Universe was originally scheduled for release in the United Kingdom on March 5th 2021 by Sony Pictures Releasing. However, Netflix later scrapped the project due to budget concerns, despite already investing around $30 million in development. Now revived by Mattel Films and Escape Artists, the movie is back on track. While its official release date remains uncertain, it’s scheduled to be released on the big screens in 2026.
Directed by Travis Knight, the film follows Prince Adam, who crash-lands on Earth in a spaceship and loses his magical Power Sword. After recovering it, he returns to Eternia to defend it from Skeletor’s evil forces.
