Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Curtis Pritchard put on a loved-up display during a cosy date night, after proving their romance is still going strong despite the criticism they’ve faced
Former Love Island All-Stars Islanders Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Curtis Pritchard are certainly proving viewers wrong, as they were spotted looking loved-up during their date night.
The couple crossed paths after entering the South African villa during the All Stars series, which began in January. Despite a rocky journey, with dancer Curtis, 29, pursuing new bombshell Danielle Sommers after being “closed off” with Ekin-Su, the couple managed to work through their rough patch. However, since finishing in third place and returning to the UK, their romance has faced criticism, with some branding it a “showmance.”
However, the Turkish actress, 30, and her beau have refused to let the negativity get to them, enjoying every moment together as they were seen having the time of their lives. The pair were all smiles as they enjoyed a night out in Manchester with fellow Love Island star Kaz, 30.
Ekin-Su looked stunning in a figure-hugging black jumpsuit with a plunging neckline, paired with simple black heels. Meanwhile, her boyfriend Curtis kept it casual in a grey hoodie, ripped, faded jeans, and white trainers.
Just last week the pair had their very first double date with Curtis’ brother AJ, 30, and his girlfriend Zara Zoffany, 30. They were also spotted looking very loved-up during London Fashion Week.
Despite the criticism surrounding their relationship, Ekin-Su and Curtis are not letting the negativity affect them. The couple remains strong, with Ekin-Su sharing her thoughts on the public’s perception of their romance. She said: “I would say everyone is entitled to an opinion.
“It’s okay if some people call it fake, showmance, real, whatever. That’s okay. What’s important is what we feel and that’s real. I guess we’re both from theatrical backgrounds, so it’s normal… You put me and him together, it becomes a theatre performance.
“So I understand why people may think that. It’s fine, it’s an opinion,” she added. The star also previously opened up about her relationship with Davide earlier this year after the pair split up in January 2024, following a two year relationship. The Italian businessman, also 30, has now also moved on an is in a relationship with American crypto investor and mum-influencer Iris.
Surrounding allegations of cheating that is said to contributed to the breakdown of their relationship, Ekin-Su said; “I don’t know what he’s doing, I couldn’t care,” she admitted. “It’s in the past. That’s the old chapter and I’m here in the new chapter. Things didn’t work and I’m here.”
Ekin-Su’s romances aren’t the only parts of her life to have made headlines as her stint in the Celebrity Big Brother house caused a stir, too. Speaking to The Sun newspaper following her stint on Celebrity Big Brother, she confessed: “I went into the show thinking that I could rebuild myself after everything that happened with Davide, but I came off worse. My guard was up.
“I blame myself for making a poor choice in my career. People could see that I wasn’t myself, and I can understand why they thought I was being fake.”
