Vogue Williams has opened up on family life with her husband Spencer Matthews and their three children, after having doubts about welcoming a fourth baby
Vogue Williams has spilled the beans about a subject close to her heart – her growing family unit. The popular podcaster opened up about her potential change of heart regarding whether to expand her sweet brood, after previously being dead set on keeping things as they are.
The mum-of-three, who shares her home life with husband Spencer Matthews and their children; Theodore, Gigi and Otto, Vogue revealed that she had made a ‘decision’ before Christmas that she was content with three kids – even going so far as to start planning the donation of all the old baby clothes she’s got in storage.
Chatting to Netmums podcast hosts Wendy Golledge and Alison Perry, Vogue was insightful, explaining: “I’d say I had 100 percent decided before Christmas that three (children) was enough. Like I couldn’t have been more sure, I was getting ready to get rid of everything, I was going to go through all the clothes, because that’s my idea to give everything away”.
But despite her conviction, Vogue had a wobble only a couple of months later, saying: “And then for some reason, in February, I thought maybe… [I might have another baby]”.
But being broody is one thing, and she was mindful of the fact it’s not solely up to her – and in any case, the idea of morning sickness was enough to sway her back.
She expanded: “I can’t fully make that decision, but I’m not a good pregnant person, I feel so so sick. The thought of that is really difficult, because I literally had to sleep sitting up because I would just feel so ill the whole time.”
Luckily, husband Spencer might be easily convinced, given that in an intimate conversation with OK! Magazine last year, the ex-Made in Chelsea heart-throb addressed the possibility of expanding his brood to four. He confessed: “There are no immediate plans, but it’s one of those where, on some days, it feels like the best idea ever and on others it doesn’t”.
However, as any parent knows the realities can be somewhat grounding – something Spencer was keen to share. He said: “When you’re juggling three school drop-offs and you’re wondering if there’s room for another. We couldn’t be more fortunate with the family we have and we’re completely delighted.”
Vogue Williams, who was previously married to Westlife’s Brian McFadden, found love again with Spencer after their paths crossed on The Jump in 2017, marrying in 2018.
