A throuple have shared the reaction some people give them when they’re out and about, but they shared they don’t care as they all feel as though they’ve hit the jackpot
A pair of twin sisters have taken the phrase ‘sharing is caring’ to a whole new level after they admitted that they share a boyfriend – and a bed.
Pediah and Petunia, twins, are in a relationship with Themba, and together, they post on social media as the Euphoria Throuple. They’ve been in a relationship for two years, initially meeting on holiday, when Themba asked if he could buy the pair an ice cream—and the rest is history.
Themba made his intentions clear from the start by saying that he wanted to date the pair rather than just one of them, reports Love Don’t Judge. But the pair were sceptical of what he wanted at first, and in his words, “gave him a real run around” and spoke to him for months before agreeing to go on a date together.
Themba has been in a polyamorous relationship before, so the situation wasn’t new to him. Meanwhile, the twins have even dated the same man before – so it wasn’t their first rodeo either.
Themba did joke that the “bed is not big enough” for the three of them though, but he doesn’t mind. He revealed it’s like “having the best of both worlds” because “they’re not the same person”. “They’re like sugar and salt,” he said, joking that they “balance each other out”.
However, it’s not all sunshine and rainbows. The throuple say that every time they go outside, “people stare”. They even shared that they’ve been “thrown out” of shops and “public areas like public pools” before for being in a throuple.
They even shared that trolls online liken them to “father and kids,” asking how old the twins are and cruelly saying they “hate” the relationship. People think their relationship is only for clout – or the girls are only with him for money – but they are adamant this is far from the case.
Themba works as a nurse while the twins have multiple businesses, including tutoring and hairdressing. He would like to commit to both of them officially – but polygamy is not legal where they live in South Africa.
Thankfully though, Pediah and Petunia described their relationship as “love at first sight,” so it’s all worth it for them. And Thembe can’t believe his luck that he ended up with not one, but two beautiful women, describing himself as “doubling up on the treasure”.
But what’s the secret to their success? They “fight, fix, and keep going” and refuse to go to bed angry – and that’s seen them go strong for two years. They also “always go on dates together” to keep the spark alive.
When it comes to the future of their relationship, Thembe said he sees “a lot of kids” to start a “legacy”.
