I doubled the length of my lashes in three months using serum now £30 in spring sale

By staff18 March 2025No Comments5 Mins Read

Beauty writer Lucy Addicott has been using the UKLash Eyelash Growth Serum for more than a year now and it’s now a staple step in her beauty routine

Advertisements for lash serums are a constant presence on my social media feeds, each promising dramatic before-and-after transformations. They show users with short lashes that seem to transform into thick, full flutters in just a few weeks.

I’ve always been somewhat sceptical about the effectiveness of these eyelash serums, wondering whether one product could really make such a significant difference. However, after using the UKLash Eyelash Growth Serum daily for over a year now, I can confidently say yes as the product completely transformed the length of my lashes after three months of consistent use.

As part of the brand’s spring sale sale, UKLash is offering shoppers up to 35% off so you can nab the eyelash serum for £30.40 rather than £38. Their popular Hair Growth Serum is also on sale, now £23.20, down from £29.

Before discovering UKLash, I had tried several lash serums over the years in my role as a beauty writer, but none had produced impressive results. Some didn’t even have a noticeable impact on thickness and length, making the promise of longer lashes seem too good to be true.

I first discovered UKLash Eyelash Growth Serum due to its popularity among celebrities, including Molly-Mae Hague and Sophie Habboo, both of whom have enviable lashes. My own lashes are quite straight and light-coloured, so they lack definition without mascara. It was only after I started using the UKLASH Eyelash Serum that I noticed a significant improvement in their appearance, even without curling or makeup.

The UKLash Eyelash Growth Serum can be used at any time of the day, but I personally started applying it every night before going to bed. If you’re a user of eye makeup, I’d recommend using it in the evening to avoid having to wait for it to dry.

The brand claims that noticeable results can be seen in as little as 25 days – a claim that proved true in my experience. Initially, I was worried about potential irritation or stickiness, but it’s hardly noticeable due to the small amount needed along the lash line.

It was around the one-month mark when my lashes began to look fuller and longer. After consistently using the UKLash Eyelash Growth Serum for more than a year, my eyelashes are in the best shape they’ve ever been. They’ve grown so long that they’re clearly visible even without mascara, which was a struggle before.

When I do apply mascara, my lashes now reach the lower part of my eyebrows. On several occasions, they’ve been so long that I’ve questioned the need for the lengthening mascara I usually depend on. I’ve only had to re-purchase the serum once, so they it lasts around six months before needing a replacement.

A 3ml bottle is priced at £30.40 in the UKLash spring sale making the total price for a year’s supply around £60. At around £5 per month, it’s significantly cheaper than lash lifts or extensions and less damaging to your natural lashes. For comparison, the highly-rated RapidLash Eyelash Enhancing Serum is priced at £40, but currently on sale at LookFantastic for £29.99, while The Ordinary’s Multi-Peptide Lash and Brow Serum costs £14, offering options across the price range.

The brand advises applying a single stroke of the serum to your upper lash line with your eyes closed. One dip is enough for both eyes. For optimal results, apply in the evening and let the serum work its magic overnight. If applying in the morning, ensure the serum has fully dried before proceeding with your makeup routine.

For the initial three months, I applied this product daily. However, to maintain my current length, I’ve since switched to using it every other day. Before you start using the UKLash Eyelash Growth Serum, there are a few things to bear in mind.

Although the formula didn’t cause any irritation when used correctly, I did experience some watering when I accidentally applied too much and it seeped into my eyes. A small amount on the brush is all you need for application along your lash line.

Like all lash serums, there are potential side effects to consider. The most common one reported is skin darkening where the product has been applied. I personally haven’t experienced this or any redness with the UKLash serum, but it’s something to bear in mind if you have sensitive skin.

Eyelashes naturally grow, shed and regenerate, so continuous use of the UKLash serum is necessary to maintain results. It’s not a one-off type of product. However, if the results are as impressive as mine after using the UKLASH serum, spending 30 seconds each evening applying it seems like a fair trade-off. You can buy the UKLash Eyelash Growth Serum here. LookFantastic also offers a range of lash serums, including RapidLash.
