Louis Tomlinson and Zara McDermott’s romance is said to be ‘moving fast’ as things heat up between the pair after their relationship was revealed when pictures were posted of them enjoying a quiet dinner together
Louis Tomlinson and Zara McDermott’s romance is “moving fast”. Sources have claimed that things are going really well between the One Direction singer and the Love Island star turned documentary maker.
The pair’s romance was confirmed when they were snapped enjoying a quiet evening at a boutique hotel restaurant. The duo enjoyed fish and chips and cocktails in The Suffolk, a low key date planned for them by Louis.
Now, sources are claiming that Zara “really likes” Louis and things are moving fast for the pair. They were hoping to keep things out of the spotlight for a little while longer. “Zara really, really likes him. They have only been together a short time, but they clearly get on really well and are enjoying one another’s company,” the insider told the Mail Online.
“They didn’t want it to come out this soon – and didn’t think it would. Louis made sure they went somewhere understated in the hope that they wouldn’t be seen. He is an expert at staying anonymous, and has been photographed relentlessly since he was a teenager.”
The source added of Zara’s new and past romance: “Things seem to be moving pretty fast. Zara is really happy and that’s what matters the most – all anyone around her wants is to see her smiling. Things have been tricky for her for the past 18 months and her split from Sam Thompson was difficult, so it’s nice to for her to have a new start.”
Zara was previously dating Made In Chelsea star Sam Thompson. The Mirror exclusively revealed yesterday that it had only been a “couple of weeks” of dating for the pair, but the One Direction star is “clearly making her smile”. Pals say that “it’s very early days but it’s clear she is having fun like any single, twenty-something”.
A day before the photos of Louis and Zara emerged, Sam gave an interview about his break-up. Chatting to Paul C Brunson about his split on his Staying Relevant podcast was asked what he had been doing since the split: “Not much to be honest with you.”
In an apparent swipe at Zara and her new romance – which has been rumoured for a few weeks – he then said: “I suppose a lot of people look for validation in other people and they look for the other person instantly to fill that hole. I can’t do that. I love home, I am a real home body. I love my cats and being around my family and being in my home, I barely ever go out.”
Offering his advice, Paul then said: “Spend time with your family, spend time creating. Tap into some of the things you loved as a boy. Tap into those and spend time doing those and that is going to increase the self esteem and self worth which is what you need now.”
