This shell pot is a “wave of elegance for your greenery” and “adds a coastal touch to any space”
Dunelm has released a new plant pot for spring, and shoppers are loving it. The pot is said to work well outside in the garden and even inside the home – some use it as a centrepiece on their dining table.
The homeware store’s recently launched Resin Off White Nautilus Shell Plant Pot costs £20 and is designed to replicate a natural nautilus shell. Dunelm says the plant pot brings the “ocean’s beauty into your home”, which shoppers say is ‘on trend’.
If you’re a fan of seaside-themed interiors, this ‘stunning’ resin planter adds a coastal touch to any space. Plus its built-in drainage hole makes watering your plants easier and stress-free.
Thanks to its unique shape and durable polyresin construction, it’s both functional and stylish—perfect for indoor and outdoor plants. Dunelm adds: “Whether you’re a beach lover or just love seaside-inspired décor, this shell pot is a wave of elegance for your greenery.”
The £20 Resin Off White Nautilus Shell Plant Pot is 31cm wide, 16.5cm long and 21cm tall. It weighs 1.23kg and should only be wiped clean with a soft cloth. As the plant pot is new, there are only three reviews – all of which are five stars.
Maxine said: “Absolutely beautiful, unusual resin planter/sea shell on the seashore. The design is on trend, and it looks gorgeous.” Penny added: “This is a great item, inside or outside. Ideal present with a fern.”
A shopper called Carol shared an innovative way she’s using the plant pot inside her home. “Absolutely love it – bought it for the garden but it didn’t get out of the house. It is currently looking fabulous with fairy lights on the dining table. May need to buy another for the garden,” she said.
You can order the Resin Off White Nautilus Shell Plant Pot on Dunelm’s website and get it delivered to your home, however, it will cost you. Standard delivery is an extra £3.95 and express delivery is £6.95. The plant pot is 1.23kg heavy too, which may not be ideal for everyone.
Resin is known for its durability and strength, allowing it to endure considerable stress and mechanical pressure. Certain types of resins, such as plant-based bioplastics, offer a more eco-friendly alternative to conventional plastics.
If you’re looking to update your home or garden with an unusually-shaped plant pot, there are many others to consider. You can get a pack of four Conch Sea Shell Air Plant Holders for £19.95 on Amazon, which has an impressive customer rating of 4.5 stars out of five.
H&M’s light beige Large Stoneware Plant Pot costs £34.99 and is inspired by nature and finished with a textured glaze. Next is selling this Natural Wiggle Arm Vase for £22 that’s described as a “statement piece for interior design enthusiasts”.
