Nothing says “I’m a global jet-setter” quite like sleek, stylish luggage and frequent flyers know that a cabin case that looks expensive is always in fashion.

Enter the Amalfi Suitcase range from Marks and Spencer – a collection of effortlessly chic, impressively durable and surprisingly affordable suitcases. Featuring a cabin case, a medium case, a large case and a bonus vanity case, these beauties are perfectly sized for British Airways, Jet2 and TUI cabin requirements, amongst others.

Offered in dreamy muted tones like charcoal, pebble, cornflower blue and a soft sage green, the Amalfi cabin case is proof that you don’t need deep pockets to pack in serious style. At £59, it is the cabin case that is the best buy of the bunch, delivering serious bang for your buck that rivals cases two or three times as expensive.

Crafted with a hard-shell, scratch-resistant exterior, the case features a delicate, Italian-inspired pattern that truly lives up to its Amalfi name. Inside, smart details like packing straps and a zip-around divider keep everything neat and in place, making it as practical as it is pretty.

It also features four smooth double wheels, a retractable pull handle, side grab handles, and a PU grip top for easy manoeuvring and lifting onto trolleys or conveyors. Built for durability and peace of mind, it boasts a reinforced anti-burst zip with pullers ready for your own padlock as well as a 10-year guarantee.

Suitcases can be dull, but the pretty design and spacious interior of the the Amalfi Cabin case is giving luxury luggage brands a serious run for their money. To give you an idea of just how affordable the Marks and Spencer Amalfi is, some of this year’s must-have luggage collections for trendy travellers include the Antler Single Stripe Cabin case for £160, the £220 Away Cabin and the Carry On Rollers from Beis that start from £244.

Costing £100 less than its closest competitor, the Amalfi Cabin case is sure to sell out quickly. If it’s not quite what you are looking for, affordable alternatives include the Tripp Chic Cabin case that is £40 on Amazon. Elsewhere Dunelm is offering 30% off the IT Luggage Divinity 4 Wheel Soft Shell Suitcase, now on sale for £28.

It’s not just us that love the pretty cases in pastel colours either. Shoppers who have already purchased the Amalfi have been raving about it on the Marks and Spencer website. One buyer said: “One of my best-ever buys from M&S. Very stylish suitcase. It’s just the right size for a cabin or a few days away. It is very easy to use and a great colour. Recommended 100%.”

A second shopper added: “Best hand luggage. The lightest luggage I’ve ever known.” Another happy shopper said: “We bought one in Yellow last Spring and it’s excellent. Strong, robust, roomy!”

Sadly, some shoppers were not quite so impressed. One disappointed traveller left a two-star review that said: “There are cheaper alternatives that I wished I had bought. It also lacks an expansion around the zip. Other almost identical cases have the extra expansion which is a great addition.”

Another delighted customer however summed up all the positives, saying: “Excellent, compact suitcase with a sleek & smart design in a trendy blue colour. Easy to operate with good, sturdy zips & flexible double wheels which help the case glide along, fabulous!” Prices for the Amalfi range start from £29 for the vanity case, rising to £79 for the large suitcase.
