Aldi has recalled its Inspired Cuisine Baby Potatoes with Herbs and Butter because they could spark allergic reactions. Certain batches of these potatoes contain a packaging error, where milk is not mentioned on the label.
This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents. The potatoes that have been recalled have a use by date of April 12 and the barcode 4061463488152. If you have purchased this product and you have a milk allergy, you can return it to your nearest Aldi store for a refund.
In a recall notice published on the Aldi website, the supermarket said: “Our supplier is recalling Inspired Cuisine Baby Potatoes with Herbs and Butter because it contains the allergen milk which is not listed on the packaging. Anyone who bought this product should return it to their nearest store for a full refund. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
“We have removed this product from sale in all stores and are recalling all affected products.
