Whizz up shakes and smoothies on the go with a cordless blender
Now the weather is a little warmer, it’s refreshing to enjoy smoothies and shakes for breakfast or as a healthy sweet treat. They are a great way to increase your fruit and vegetable intake, and for those who use protein powders, you can easily pop a scoop into your drink.
Portable blenders have been on the market for some years and are great for on-the-go usage. If you go to the gym before work or want to enjoy a smoothie in the office, such devices make it practical to do so.
Nutribullet is a leading blender brand, and its Portable Blender is one of its most popular devices. At £39.99 it is reasonably priced; however thanks to a stacked offer – of a sale and a discount code – you can buy one for £28.79 at Yimbly, which is cheaper than you can buy it at Amazon (selling for £31), Argos (offered for £32) and Currys (£31.99).

Yimbly is a new online marketplace owned by The Mirror’s parent company Reach Plc, and shipping on our first order is free. Currently, Yimbly has reduced the price of Nutribullet’s Portable Blender to £31.99, but shoppers can get a further 10% off thanks to a discount code – simply use SPRING10 at the checkout.
Only the navy blue and light blue colours are on sale for £31.99, whereas the purple, black, white and magenta colours are fully priced at £39.99, but you can still get a 10% discount using the code SPRING 10 at the checkout.
The compact and lightweight Nutribullet lets you mix all your favourite blends without a cord or plug. It charges via USB, and has a sleek design thanks to its handled lid and cordless design.
There are alternatives on the market, for instance, Ninja’s Blast Cordless Portable Blender (£49.99), which has a leak-proof lid and is rechargeable via USB. Use it to blend smoothies, protein shakes and frozen drinks at home or on-the-go.
Another popular alternative is BREVILLE Active Blender, on sale for £20 at Currys, down from £23. The angled stainless steel blades promise to crush ice, seeds, nuts and frozen fruit.
Currently, Nutribullet’s Portable Blender doesn’t have any customer reviews on Yimbly, but you can find hundreds of reviews and ratings on Amazon. One shopper said: “Great purchase. Compact, which is ideal for my small kitchen and very handy to take to work for a lunchtime smoothie.”
However, a second user has had issues with the blender saying: “Very compact and convenient for taking to work as smoothie breakfast. Only thing is, it gets stuck frequently with some harder fruits.
“I have to keep resetting it by plugging it in when I put some frozen fruit, pineapple or chopped carrots in there. The tip of shaking it upside down doesn’t work very well and this product mainly works when it is plugged in.” A third wrote: “I bought this for my son; he loves it. It’s really convenient as it’s portable and rechargeable.”
A fourth Amazon customer concluded: “I love it so much. It changed my perception of drinking whey protein. Thank you.”
