‘Cold-blooded Vladimir Putin’ reveals he fights desire to ‘punch’ people

By staff3 May 2025No Comments3 Mins Read

Russian despot Vladimir Putin said he “always” gets the urge to “punch someone” after he was quizzed during an interview on the country’s state TV about his anger issues

Russian dictator Vladimir Putin has revealed he has anger issues and craves to “punch” people.

He was asked in an interview: “On the outside, you always seem very cold-blooded and reserved — don’t you ever get the urge to, as they say, punch someone?” Warmonger Putin replied: “Always!” He was asked: “Always?” He replied: “I live with it. But I fight it.” The exchange came in a trailer for a Russian state TV documentary marking the 25th anniversary of his first inauguration as president in 2000. Separately, his close political sidekick hit out at Donald Trump for “pretentious nonsense” in an argument over whether Russia or the US played a bigger role 80 years ago in defeating Hitler in World War Two.

“We did more than any other Country, by far, in producing a victorious result,” Trump insisted on Truth Social. He named 8 May as Victory Day for Americans to mark winning the Second World War, and 11 November for the First World War.

Russia annually marks victory in Europe on May 9 with a massive military display on Red Square in Moscow. “We won both Wars, nobody was close to us in terms of strength, bravery or military brilliance,” said Trump.

“But we never celebrate anything. That’s because we don’t have leaders any more, that know how to do so.”

He vowed to “start celebrating our victories again!” Medvedev – a former Russian president – said Trump should find out who stormed Berlin.

“Let him remember…who took Berlin? Who crushed the enemy for more than four years? Who liberated ungrateful Europe?”

Referring to Soviet people – which included Russians and Ukrainians – he said: “Our people laid down 27 million lives of their sons and daughters in the name of destroying the accursed fascism. Therefore, Victory Day is ours and it is 9 May! So it was, so it is, so it will always be!”

Meanwhile, Ukraine’s Ministry of Defence (MOD) said that its country’s soldiers would join the UK’s military procession to mark the 80th anniversary of VE (Victory in Europe) Day as a symbol of support following Russia’s invasion. It is estimated that some Ukrainian personnel will join the estimated 1,000 UK servicemen from the Royal Navy, the Royal Marines, the British Army and the Royal Air Force in London on Monday.

The joining together of of the service personnel from both nations is aimed to symbolise the global support for Ukraine’s “continued fight for freedom against Russia’s unprovoked, illegal invasion,” according to the MoD.

VE Day is celebrated on May 8 each year to mark the day the Allies formally accepted Germany’s surrender in the 1945. The representatives of the Ukrainian armed forces taking part in Monday’s procession will comprise those deployed to the UK on Operation Interflex – the UK armed forces’ training programme for Ukrainian recruits, delivered with 12 partner nations.
