Mikel Arteta’s side go into tonight’s game against Paris Saint-Germain trailing 1-0, but there’s still 90 minutes to play at the Parc de Princes
Arsenal’s UEFA Champions League campaign hangs on a knife’s edge as they face PSG in the second leg of their semi-final tie on Wednesday. The Gunners head into the game 1-0 down after Ousmane Dembélé found the net in the first five minutes of the first leg.
Arsenal struggled to find the form they carried through both quarter-final legs against Real Madrid, but were unlucky to have Mikel Merino’s headed equaliser ruled out by VAR for offside. Gianluigi Donnarumma once again proved himself as one of the world’s best with several stunning saves, including denying Leandro Trossard from levelling up in the second half.
Arsenal now travel to Paris for what’s sure to be an intense 90 minutes at the Parc de Princes and could reach the final for the first time since the 2005/06 season should they pull off a dramatic comeback. The French champions are hunting a first Champions League trophy and are the clear favourites to progress to the final stage.

Following Arsenal’s defeat last week, Mikel Arteta admitted his side will need to produce ‘something special’ to avoid elimination tonight. Speaking to Sky Sports, he said: “We are going to have to do something special in Paris.
“We are more than capable of doing it. The first 10 or 15 minutes, we struggled to get momentum and to get the dominance we wanted. But, other than that, there wasn’t anything apart from the goal. After that, the team went better and better and it’s disappointing to not get a draw at least.”
As any football fan knows, the tie is far from over and Arsenal will make history should they secure an aggregate win tonight. Here’s when PSG vs Arsenal is scheduled to kick off and where to watch it in the UK.
