Save 15% on Les Mills home workout bundles that buyers are giving ‘two thumbs up’

Fitness fans can enjoy a world of workouts that can be done anywhere, while saving money on gym equipment that is ‘worth every penny.’

Effective fitness techniques at home and in the gym

In a world where time is tight and fitness options are endless, finding the right workout can be tricky. From lifting weights to choreographed group fitness classes finding the best schedule to suit your lifestyle can be exhausting before you even begin.

Another option is to work out at home, allowing fitness fans to take control of their health journey in their own time. Whether it’s boosting cardiovascular health, building lean muscle, torching calories or improving mental wellbeing, working out at home can be just as effective as sweating it out in the gym.

To make sure exercising away from the gym is just as effective, the fitness experts at Les Mills have designed a digital platform that brings the same expert instruction and routines from the gym straight to living rooms. To get the most out of the Les Mills+ home workouts, the brand is currently offering 15% off selected work out bundles using code UKAFF15.

As a big fan of Les Mills fitness classes myself, the thought of doing them at home is very tempting. My only concern is would I be disciplined enough to whip out my weights or get body pumping at home without being pushed – with money off, I think I might actually love it.

I didn’t realise that the Les Mills+ app offers a library of more than 2,000 online workouts, covering a wide range of disciplines including strength training, cardio, yoga, HIIT, Pilates, dance and even martial arts. The platform also offers structured workout plans, fitness challenges, guided mindfulness and meditation sessions, as well as expert nutritional guidance.

With a strong focus on accessibility and support, it aims to keep users motivated and engaged on their fitness journey from the comfort of home.

Of course, it’s not only the experts at Les Mills who can help amplify home workouts. Peloton famously offers indoor cycling subscriptions that can be enjoyed on the gold-standard Peloton spin bikes from the comfort of home.

A firm favourite with many Brits looking to keep fit, Peloton bikes cost in excess of £1300, with subscription fees starting from £12.99 per month.

If you would rather create your own home gym that you can customise, Amazon has lots of individual elements to choose from including weight benches, barbells, yoga mats and more.

For anyone looking to start practising yoga or Pilates at home, Argos has the Pro Fitness PVC Yoga Set for £18.99. This set is cheap but cheerful, and buyers have called it “perfect for beginners.”

Fitness fans can currently save 15% on selected bundles from Les Mills, both of which include a free limited-time subscription to the LES MILLS+ app.

Yoga Pack

Practicing yoga and Pilates at home helps create a peaceful, distraction-free environment to focus on mind and body connections, reduce stress and improve strength, flexibility and balance.

Reduced from £114.56 to £89.99, the Les Mills Yoga bundle features an award-winning MBX™ Mat — a dual-surface, eco-friendly exercise mat recognised by Men’s Health Lab UK in 2021 for its performance in yoga, Pilates and high-impact training.

Also included is a versatile yoga strap, which doubles as a mat carrier and a tool to support stretching and flexibility and a complimentary three-month LES MILLS+ Premium Membership.

Shoppers who have already invested in the MBX™ Mat, one part of the bundle, seem to be impressed with it. One buyer said: “I knew it would be special and as expected it just goes the extra mile. Way better quality than any other mat I’ve ever used.”

Another described it as being: “Worth every penny,” adding: “This is really high quality equipment and I find myself working out more because the equipment is easier to use than the cheaper work around stuff I struggled with for a few months. I couldn’t recommend these products more.”

Some buyers however, raised concerns about the quality of the mat. One said: “It’s slippery and sometimes I would prefer to not use the mat.”

The Works Premium bundle

For anyone looking to create their own dedicated gym space at home, The Works Premium bundle claims to be the ‘ultimate home gym experience.’

The bundle is made up of high-performance, gym-grade equipment designed to help build strength and boost endurance. Ideal for LES MILLS BODYPUMP™, LES MILLS CORE™, and total-body strength training, it is versatile enough to elevate every workout.

While a little on the pricey side at £949.99 after discount, it could still work out cheaper than a monthly membership for some upmarket sports clubs and health centres.

The Premium Bundle includes:

  • SMARTBAR™ Barbell (1x) for quick and easy weight transitions
  • Weight Plates:
  • 1kg / 2.2lb (2x)
  • 2.5kg / 5.5lb (2x)
  • 5kg / 11lb (2x)
  • SMARTSTEP™ System that includes 1 platform and 4 red risers for step, strength, and plyo workouts
  • SMARTBAND™ (1x) to add targeted resistance for core and mobility training
  • MBX™ Mat (1x) which is a high-density mat for comfort and support during floor work
  • Vertical Storage Rack (1x) to keep space tidy and equipment organised

Also included in the package is a free 12-month LES MILLS+ Premium membership.

Fitness fans who have switched from regular barbells to the SMARTBAR™ Barbell, which is the main component of the bundle, have been impressed. With a 4-8 out of five-star rating on the website, the convenience of the high-performance weight set and bar seems to be a big hit with weight lovers.

One buyer said: “So easy to slide on and off. Wish every gym had these sets.” Another added: “I use these weights almost daily, mostly for biceps curls. Easy and sage to use, and easy to store.”

A third user was particularly happy with the design, saying: “Self clip on makes it very easy to switch between weights. Also, I love the gator head spinning mechanism which takes away less impact on my wrists when doing clean and press. Two thumbs up!”

Some were concerned about the price of the Barbell. One buyer explained: “Good quality weights but cost way too much! I payed over $500 just for the smartbar and weights! Nothing else was included…Extremely pricey although I do love ’em!”

The SMARTSTEP system is also popular for high intensity training, receiving a rating of 4.8 out of five-star rating.

While it remains to be seen whether I have the will power to work out at home, I’m going to think about jumping in with the Les Mills+ app while sweating it out at my next RPM class.
