Primark shoppers were urged to “run” to stores to get their hands on the popular midi satin dress
Primark shoppers are loving a “classy” £20 dress they’ve seen go viral on TikTok. The retailer is well known for its affordable and on-trend clothing, and a new favourite may have just dropped.
Fashion influencer Perrie Sian (@perriesian) took to TikTok to share her latest haul from the high street giant, sharing a range of different items styled at home. The post was captioned: “Final part of my Primark try on haul!!! So so impressed.”
The clip showcased a range of Primark items, including the Paula Echevarría Satin Bandeau Dress. The dress proved hugely popular not only with Perrie but with many shoppers watching the video too.
In the clip, Perrie said: “The last and final part of a three-part series, a trilogy of one of the best Primark hauls I’ve ever done. Run, don’t walk.”
Introducing the Paula Echevarría Satin Bandeau Dress Perrie added: “Outfit number one. I wasn’t…I wasn’t expecting much from this because it’s just a satin strapless dress. Well, I am mistaken.
“Slap on the wrist for me. Don’t do that again, because this is phenomenal. The simplicity of it is so nice. Simple, wearable outfits at a great price. I think this was £18 [the dress is listed online for £20]. Insane.
“I love it. I don’t even mind that it finishes just at my ankle. I actually think it’s really classy. This is gorgeous. And again, Primark. Imagine this in Bottega for the wedding guest. Hello. So nice.”
Perrie also pointed out that the dress features an extra layer of elasticated fabric around the top to ensure it stays up. She added: “I just think this looks so classy. Like from Primark? You would not think this was from Primark.
“You wouldn’t. Don’t lie to me. I can hear you…If I said, oh, this is a Zara haul. Unless you would have seen it in Primark before, you would be like, oh, that’s nice from Zara.”
The video racked up more than 231k views, 10.9k likes and hundreds of comments from excited fans. Among them, one person said: “Primark take all my money!!”
A second wrote: “Ran to Primark today … damage has been done.” A third added: “How has Primark not realised they need a PerrieXPrimark collection yet.”
A fourth shopper said: “Why does my Primark have nothing from your haul,” while a fifth commented: “everything was gorgeous on you Perrie.” Another wrote: “Zara did a similar black satin strapless dress 2 years ago which I wore for a wedding. Gorgeous style.”
A different shopper said: “I think you should do hauls and leave every guessing where the items are from because you’re right the black dress does not look like Primark.”
The praise continued, with one person saying: “You had me at outfit no.1…I GASPED.” A second wrote: “Wow wow wow that black dress is soooo classy on and I LOVE everything else that ur keeping. Go Primark.”
A third added: “Love outfit one! You look amazing in it. I need to get myself there.” Another wrote: “Love the black dress.”
