Tory Lanez is on the mend in hospital after being stabbed multiple times.
The ‘Say It’ rapper, 32, is recuperating while serving a 10-year sentence for shooting Megan Thee Stallion in 2020.
On May 12, an update via his official Instagram account revealed the severity of his situation: “Tory was stabbed 14 times – including 7 wounds to his back, 4 to his torso, 2 to the back of his head, and 1 to the left side of his face. Both of his lungs collapsed, and he was placed on breathing apparatus. He is now breathing on his own.”
The statement continued with optimism: “Despite being in pain, he is talking normally, in good spirits, and deeply thankful to God that he is pulling through. He also wants to thank everyone for their continued prayers and support,” accompanied by emojis representing prayer hands and an umbrella.
Lanez’s community showed up in the comments section to offer their support. Reactions included heartfelt messages like: “God is great! ! ! Praying for you bro.”, reports the Mirror US.

The shocking incident occurred shortly after Lanez flaunted his muscular physique from prison on social media last week, teasing fans with news of an upcoming album drop.
Lanez is behind bars serving a decade-long sentence for the 2020 shooting of hip-hop star Megan Thee Stallion, who’s now 30.
In a dramatic turn of events in December 2024, Megan sought legal protection, filing for a restraining order to halt what she described as Lanez’s ‘psychological warfare’. However, his attorneys were quick to counter her claims.
Megan alleged she was being targeted online by bloggers in cahoots with Tory, accusing the singer of collaborating with these internet scribes to disseminate false and damaging stories about her, amounting to “psychological warfare.”
Moreover, she voiced her unease over the timing of his legal maneuvers, which coincided with several important projects she had in the pipeline.
