No7 shoppers ‘blown away’ as dark circles and wrinkles ‘gone’ with £10 cream

Shoppers have said they noticed results ‘almost instantly’ after using the cream designed to ‘revive’ eyes

Boots shoppers can get their hands on a cream that helps skin look and feel ‘younger’. And, for a limited time, it is better than half of its usual price, meaning shoppers can also make a decent saving.

The No7 Pure Retinol Eye Cream might come in a small 15ml tube, but Boots says you only need a little to make a difference. Normally sold for £24.95, the cream is discounted for one day only as part of the store’s weekly £10 Tuesday sale.

This discount knocks close to £15 off the product. It makes now an ideal time for shoppers to stock up on their usual beauty buys or try something new without taking as much of a financial hit.

No7 bosses claim that the cream is infused with pure retinol and works overnight to “deliver visibly younger-looking skin around the eyes”. The active ingredients claim to lessen the appearance of “deep wrinkles, fine lines, dark circles and puffiness”.

It has been “dermatologically tested” to work best around the eye area. The skin around our eyes is thinner than that of other body parts, so it needs more delicate care. It is also more susceptible to dryness, irritation, and early signs of ageing.

There are plenty of alternatives out there if you’re in need of a new eye cream. Superdrug sells Me+ Retinol Eye Cream in the same-sized 15ml tube for £9, which has glowing results online. Also, you could try The INKEY List Retinol Eye Cream (15ml). It is available in multiple places like Next or Boots (both £13).

Many shoppers are more than happy with the No7 product, as hundreds of people have shared their thoughts online. One said: “I’ve been using the eye cream and night cream at night fot around 6 weeks and can definitely see an improvement in skin texture and a softening of crows feet – love it.”

Another added: “The puffiness under my eyes has gone! I’ve tried all sorts of eye cream and this is the first one that’s worked!” A third wrote: “I want to use it all the time, because I have applied it this evening and noticed a result immediately, like less than a minute later! Before I had chance to apply the cream to my left eye, the bag from around my right eye had visibly shrunk and the dark shadows have disappeared.”

Someone else put in their review: “My dark circles have nearly disappeared and my fine lines are gone! People have commented that I look less tired.” And, a fifth person shared: “Incredible! My dark circles are pretty much gone and the skin is young and glorious.”

But, it wasn’t adored by every shopper. One claimed: “It made the skin around my eyes so sore and wrinkly. I persevered for a few days but couldn’t continue and it took a few more days after stopping use for my skin to recover.”

Another posted: “I followed the instructions, applying only to the outer socket, not the lid, every other night. I have been left with sore, red peeling skin that feels and looks sunburnt.”
