The ‘chic’ and ‘classy’ new summer range has impressed shoppers who say “there are so many nice pieces”
Primark has updated its stores with a brand new range of ‘super aesthetic’ summer clothes, shoes and accessories that shoppers say ‘make you look expensive’ – but on a budget. Primark is a popular choice across the UK for its affordable high-street fashion, as it usually sells most things you need in your wardrobe or dressing table at bargain prices.
Despite its often low costs, Primark’s products usually still receive plenty of praise from shoppers for looking ‘more expensive’ than they really are’. One particular shopper stands by that and took to TikTok to share her reasons why.
Fashion and lifestyle blogger Cara Braia uploaded a video she filmed during her most recent trip to Primark. In the caption, she wrote: “Look expensive on a budget with Primark’s new in summer range.”
At the start of the video, she says: “Come to Primark with me, I want to see if we can look expensive on a budget. The new summer stock is actually really chic and classy. I love the new Paula Collection.”
Cara is referring to Paula Echevarría’s collaboration with Primark, which has been updated this season to “elevate your wardrobe to chic new heights”. The Spanish actress and model’s range includes loungewear co-ords, crochet and linen pieces, ‘fabulous’ dresses, floaty skirts and ‘playful’ all-in-ones.
Cara continued: “Honestly girls, Primark isn’t giving Primark at the minute, it is giving expensive and chic. I’m really impressed.” Giving viewers a glimpse of the latest swimwear, which she describes as “beautiful” and “gorgeous”, Cara praised Primark’s wide variety.
The store’s newest swimwear includes this Paula Echevarría Embroidered Bikini set. The bottoms cost £5 and the matching top is £8. Primark says shoppers can “look and feel their best on the beach” with this “super stylish” Paula Echevarría Animal Print Textured Control Swimsuit for £14. Another ‘flattering’ pick is this Sculpting Wrap Swimsuit for £14.
As for everyday fashion, Cara says: “There are gorgeous linen style pieces as well, which I love.” She went on to share her thoughts on Primark’s £18 Wide Leg Jogger Jeans that come in five different colours and seven sizes. She said: “I love the denim.” The Paula Echevarría Barrel Denim Jeans also appeared in the video and are available in ecru for £18.
When it came to the accessories, Cara said: “Even the beach tote bags are super aesthetic.” Primark’s Paula Echevarría Slouchy Straw Shopper Bag is on sale for £15, and comes in black too. This ‘chic’ Striped Woven Shopper Bag is available via click and collection and is priced at £18.
Before trying some clothes on, which she shared in a separate follow-up video, she told viewers: “There are so many nice pieces. I’m actually really impressed.” Other items Cara tried on include this £8 Collared Waistcoat, £23 Sleeveless Corset Mini Dress, which went viral on TikTok earlier this year, and these £14 Linen Slingback Court Shoes.
