Mirror’s Tech Commerce Editor, Harriet, has picked out the latest pre-order deals on Samsung’s newest Galaxy S25 Edge mobile – here’s everything shoppers need to know
Looking for a powerful Samsung phone as your next Android device, but not a fan of having a chunky phone? Well, the Galaxy brand has just launched another flagship model, as an upgrade from its S25 range, its newest 2025 mobile could have an ‘edge’ on the rest, and it’s now available to pre-order in the UK.
The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is the newest mobile from the brand, and the standout features come with its standout sleek design, its selling point being its super sleek and thin frame. With a 5.8mm chassis, the Galaxy S25 Edge had been praised as a “remarkable feat of engineering” from the brand.
Despite its thinner frame, the flagship model is also a powerhouse of speed, with the same Snapdragon 8 Elite processor for Galaxy bundled inside as the S25 Series models. Galaxy AI and a powerful (and pocketable) 200MP camera are other features that could put it to the top of shoppers lists – as we unveil exactly where to buy it and the deals worth looking at.

It’s not the first time a mobile brand has added another model to its flagship range – take Apple for example, with its budget iPhone 16e – that’s available to buy at O2 – or Google’s Pixel 9a. The newest device in Samsung’s fleet of S-range devices is currently on pre-sale for UK shoppers, and available at retailers include the brand’s own store along with Sky and EE.
Over at Samsung at the usual pre-order offers are flowing – with a double storage data deal where (as with the S25 launch) shoppers can get the bigger 512GB device for the same price as the 256GB model – however this will only be around until Thursday, May 29.

Get double storage and free earbuds at Sky
Sky beats Samsung’s pre-order deal by matching the same double-storage offer but adding in a free pair of Galaxy Buds3 Pro for shoppers. However, while it offers the £219 earphones for £0 the price of the device works out more expensive after the 36-month contract. The monthly device price is highlighted below:
Samsung is also knocking between £50 and £550 off the price for shoppers that have another phone to trade in. It’s a usual standout deal from the brand, however, the biggest the trade-in discounts are reserved for those trading in the newest model handsets.
It’s not the only retailer, Sky is also offering the device on its cost-spreading contract. And with a free pair of earbuds for shoppers, which Samsung isn’t currently offering. At Sky, the price for the S25 Edge starts at £40 per month for the device only, which is fixed into a 36-month contract, for the 512GB model. Data needs to be added on top, but it’s currently offering an extra 30GB for free if you buy its £12 per month 10GB plan.
Another brand offering the S25 Edge is EE, and prices start from £31 per month for the device, with data added on top. Shoppers at EE can choose between a 36-month plan or split it into shorter 24-months – although that boosts the price up to £47.57 per month.
While we’re yet to test this device out for ourselves at The Mirror, there’s no doubt that price will be a downside to many shoppers – as it’s set a lot higher than Samsung’s previous starting prices – £1,099 instead of the usual £799 launch price we saw with the standard S25.
Tech Editor Dave Snelling has also highlighted this downside whilst taking an exclusive sneak peek at the device for The Mirror, as he said: “Sadly, it won’t come cheap with prices starting from £1,099. It also has a smaller battery inside, so it may not last as long as its siblings. We’ll have to wait for the reviews to arrive to find out just how long it lasts.”
Which is why the brands own Galaxy S25 range may seem like a better pick when it comes to price, especially considering the rival S range models both have the same processor too. Samsung has cut £200 off the price since the S25 Edge launch, and the 128GB S25 is now available to buy for £599 instead of £799.
