Love Island star Laura Anderson says her Pomeranian dog Buddy has bitten 18-month-old Bonnie twice as well as urinating in her cut but she is determined for them to live together
Committed Laura Anderson says she “won’t give up” on her dog – despite it biting her one-year-old daughter twice. The former Love Island star is determined for her Pomeranian Buddy and tiny Bonnie to get along.
Telling fans about her struggle managing both baby and pet, she recently opening about about her pooch weeing on the little one. Laura doesn’t think the problems will last and speaking about her move, she said: “I’m so excited to have a garden the garden’s so big. Bonnie’s going to love it, I’m going to get her a swing set. And Buddy’s coming home for all those asking.”
But she went on to confess: “He actually bit Bonnie twice and it was just really difficult in the flat, I couldn’t really keep them separated and when she was really young it was just so difficult.
Laura gave birth to Bonnie in September 2023, following a tumultuous relationship with actor Gary Lucy. Though they briefly attempted to rekindle things, the romance fizzled out for good, and Laura has largely raised Bonnie solo. The exes have exchanged public jabs about Gary’s role in his daughter’s life.
More recently, Laura has found love again with Scottish footballer Clark Robertson – but navigating parenthood in the public eye hasn’t been easy. She’s frequently targeted by online critics, especially so-called ‘mum shamers.’
In March, Laura confessed she was left in tears after receiving a nasty message criticizing her for enjoying a day out while Bonnie stayed with her grandmother.
It comes as she took to social media and “reminisced” after a long day and had just sat down to enjoy the last night in her Glasgow flat. It comes as the former Love Island star, 36, shared she’s moving out of her flat.
“I’m moving house tomorrow. I have just finished packing. The removals are coming in the morning. Oh I feel weird, feel like I am getting a bit emosh,” she said when addressing her 1.5 million fans.
Laura continued, “It’s just weird because this is the flat I brought Bonnie home for the first time. I’ve packed the whole place myself, I’ve been here for two years. I moved here when I was literally eight months pregnant and yeah just thinking about all the times with her and the hard times. Now I’m actually moving to a house.”
The mum-of-one later gave updated on her Instagram stories of the flat crowded with cardboard moving boxes. “This is what I’ve been doing.
“This is why I have been MIA packing everything,” she explained. “It sounds really echoey, you know when there’s nothing on the walls,” she added before scanning the camera round the flat, which were all full of boxes.
