A brave TikTok star has sadly died following a battle with brain cancer. Anna Grace Phelan, 19, had shared her inspiring fight against an aggressive brain tumour known as a glioblastoma.

The star from Georgia in the US, was confirmed to have passed away in a post shared to her TikTok page and its 150,000 followers. The statement read: “It is with great sadness to announce that our beautiful daughter, Anna Grace Phelan, went home to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.”

The statement also said: “So many of you have followed her journey through a difficult battle with cancer and bore witness to her powerful testimony of faith. Thank you for the countless thousands of prayers for healing and peace. May we all rejoice with the assurance that she is in Heaven now, and she has been healed.”

Anna Grace shared her battle with her followers, first revealing the awful news of her diagnosis in September last year. The grim development occurred just days before she was due to begin her first year of college.

At first, she said she had slurred speech, numbness on the left side of her face and right leg, and vision problems. But what really made her notice something could be wrong was a sudden loss of balance.

“I started having vision problems in my left eye, my numbness in my face and on my leg is still here.,” she said. “My speech started to seem weird. My head’s very foggy.”

After she was diagnosed with glioblastoma, she said it was the “hardest news” she had ever had. Then on May 14 this year, Anna GRace confimred doctors had given her further bad news and admitted it would take a “miracle” for her to get better.

“Things haven’t been good,” she said. “My tumor grew and it’s in the area where I can’t breathe. It can’t be operated.” She added: “It would take a miracle, but I’m not giving up yet. If you keep praying for me, I think that I’ll make it.”
