Aldi employee Dylan McCormack has revealed what he believes is ‘the best’ product available in the supermarket for £2.49 as others compare it to similar products from M&S and Waitrose
Aldi is the fourth-largest supermarket in the UK, and consumer champion Which? has named it the UK’s cheapest supermarket for the past four years.
In it’s long list of products, the supermarket not only sells every day essential at a usually lower price compared to other supermarkets, they also bring in new products with every season in order to appeal even more to the general product. For summer, this can include foods for the BBQ, new drinks, or an assortment of ice creams. One worker has now come out to name what he believes is the ‘best ever’ product that he’s tried from Aldi.
Dylan McCormack, 25, has made a name for himself on TikTok as he often makes videos to share what the store has to offer every week, often sharing what’s new in its infamous middle section of products.
However, in a recent video, he decided to share his secret on what he believes is the best product currently on sale in the supermarket, and it’s perfect for summer.
“As you know, I work for Aldi. And the best products that I’ve ever tried at Aldi is in the freezer section,” he revealed.
As he walked over to the ice cream section, he turned the camera to show off two new flavours of gelato. He said: “It’s hands down, the best product I’ve ever had from Aldi is the tiramisu gelato. Closely followed by the lemon meringue gelato.”
Currently on sale for £2.49 per tub in Aldi, the gelato offers as sweet and refreshing treat as the hottest days of the year has come over the country,.
He said: “They’re absolutely stunning. Like, genuinely, these are so, so good. I could not recommend these any more.
“If you’ve tried this new gelato in Aldi, let me know in the comments. Because I genuinely believe that this is fire.”
People soon took to the comment section to share their thoughts on the gelato, but many Aldi shoppers also shared what they believed were the best products available in the store.
“Not tried the gelato, but may have ‘accidentally ‘ eaten half a tub of the chilled tiramisu in one go,” one person shared, while another person said: “Will buy and try next time I go in.”
Someone else added: “I knew it was going to be this when you said it! It feels like it’s from Waitrose or M&S. I would love a pistachio one.”
Giving other examples of what they believed were the best products, one person said: “King kebab is the best thing.”
Another argued: “Wrong! The chicken spring rolls in the freezer section. Gimme.”
Someone else also have a differing view, writing: “The vanilla latte sachets .. 8 for just over a quid are unbeatable. Add half a spoon of coffee, dash of milk. It’s been my go to for years.”
