Oasis tour Manchester Heaton Park banned items and new travel advice

By staff26 June 2025No Comments5 Mins Read

A new update from the Oasis website answers many questions fans have about tour shows coming to Manchester Heaton Park

Oasis fans heading to Manchester’s Heaton Park for the second leg of the Oasis tour in 2025 have a long list of things they can’t bring into the venue.

The official Oasis website has a link to an updated page on gigsandtours.com which sold tickets for the shows. It states only small bags and handbags no bigger than A4 size are allowed in the park. So any fans with larger rucksacks or suitcases will need to store them before they get there. Help is at hand as Manchester has several companies that store large bags including Stasher.

There is also a large list of items which are banned from entering the park including any form of seating. The rules state: “It is a fully standing gig, with no outside seating permitted under any circumstances.”

One suggestion for watching Noel and Liam Gallagher is for you to “bring a foldable blanket to sit on” but it would need to fit into your bag. You are also banned from bringing in food and drink into the concert venue area of the park. However there will be water points. Rules state: “You are welcome to bring an empty plastic bottle, we will have water refill points on site.”

According to the website the doors open for the Oasis live 25 shows at Heaton Park at 3pm. The music will finish at 22:30 food vendors will remain open until 23:00.

There is a variety of options to get to Heaton Park from Manchester town centre. The concert organisers are encouraging people to take a shuttle bus.

DEDICATED EVENT BUS STRAIGHT INTO HEATON PARK

Departure: Lever Street, Manchester, M1. W3W/// gossip.unfair.usage

Arrival: Bus Park (North Gate) within Heaton Park – can be used by all ticket types.

You will be able to board any shuttle service to and from Heaton Park with a valid ticket.

Tickets are available through the Bee Network App, return tickets are priced £10

Note, services are expected to be busy, to avoid delays, we recommend that you plan to travel early.

Shuttles will run from 13:30 – 19:00 to Heaton Park and from 22:15 back to Manchester, from a dedicated bus station inside Heaton Park, accessed through North Gate

Another option is to WALK from the Town Centre: There will be a well signposted walking route directly from Exchange Square/Victoria station along Cheetham Hill Road / Bury Old Road. This is the best route to take before and after the concerts. It is well lit, has plenty of services along the way and will ensure you do not get lost! It’s the most direct route from City Centre to the venue and back. It is likely to be the quickest way back to city centre after the show. It is approximately a 50 minute walk along Cheetham Hill Road to the Park.

Or there is the TRAM service although this is expected to be busy: Take the Bury Line from Victoria Station to Heaton Park. For tickets – just tap in and out as part of the Manchester Bee Network

Finally you could try driving although parking is expected to be tricky. There are no official car parks for this event, we advise alternate transport methods; dedicated city centre event bus, walking, tram or regular bus services.

The tour is now just days away from starting with Oasis beginning in the UK and two nights at Cardiff before heading out on the road for a world tour with the second venue being the homecoming Manchester shows.

Oasis began their rehearsals on May 20 with the first sessions being without Liam who was resting his voice. Noel Gallagher was pictured alongside Paul “Bonehead” Arthurs, Gem Archer, Andy Bell and new drummer Joey Waronker.

In April Noel broke his silence in a new book to talk about the Oasis Live 25 tour. On the demand for tickets, Noel told photographer Kevin Cummins: “I thought it’d be a big deal, but I was a bit taken aback by just how much of a big deal it was.”

Liam then joined rehearsals with the rest of Oasis on June 3 and at the time Liam told fans he was feeling “biblical” about being back with brother Noel performing for the first time in 16 years. Earlier this year Noel was quizzed to name his favourite Oasis song but replied: “Can I have more than one? Supersonic, Some Might Say, Live Forever and Rock’n’Roll Star.” The UK shows will also feature special guests Richard Ashcroft and Cast, who are friends up the band.
