Over 150 firefighters and 25 fire engines have rushed to the scene of an industrial estate fire in London this morning.
The crews are tackling a fire at an industrial estate on Maypole Crescent in Erith, south-east London, after initially being called out at aroun 10.47pm yesterday night. According to the emergency services a warehouse is currently alight, along with a crane and several vehicles.
Local residents are advised to keep their windows and doors closed where possible due to smoke being produced. Photos shared on social media show thick, black smoke billowing into the sky which can be seen for miles.
