Your Fire TV Stick gets a free upgrade this month and the timing could not be better

By staff4 August 2025No Comments3 Mins Read

Fire TV Sticks, Sky devices and Google streamers are all getting free access to new service this month.

If you have a Fire TV Stick plugged into the back of your telly, you might want to try a heart-pumping new service that has launched just in time for the school summer holidays. It’s called Mvmnt Family and has just been released by the fitness team at Mvmnt. As the name suggests, this online platform isn’t built for just adults – it’s been created to help the whole family get moving during the long break.

Once installed, Fire TV users will find 7-minute workouts included in Mvmnt Family, which are all led by a fitness coach. But that’s not all as all the classes also feature children as well. This should make it easy for parents and kids to follow along together from the comfort of their front rooms.

So it doesn’t get boring, Mvmnt also says its sessions span a broad range of activities which include strength, yoga, HIIT, football skills and balance.

Even if you don’t have a Fire TV Stick, don’t worry. This service is also now available on devices including Sky Q, Sky Glass and Google – it’s also possible to join in via phones and tablets.

Fancy giving it a go? There’s good news for new Mvmnt members as it’s completely free for all of August.

The launch of Mvmnt Family could come at the perfect time. New research suggests many parents hit a summer slump with 46 percent of parents admitting they run out of active ideas by mid-August. 27 percent of families also say they are only active together just once a week or less.

“We wanted to create something simple, fun, and accessible that helps families stay active together,” said Rory Knight, Coach and Director of Fitness at Mvmnt

“By bringing Mvmnt Family to millions of living rooms, we’re making fitness something parents and kids can easily do side by side. No setup, no stress.”

How to access Mvmnt on Amazon Fire, Google TV and Sky:

Amazon Fire, and Google TV customers can access Mvmnt via ‘ Apps ’ on their device. Sky customers can also head to the ‘Apps’ section on Sky Live, Sky Stream, Sky Q and Sky Glass to find Mvmnt.

Search for Mvmnt, and start a free 7-minute family session straight from their TV. New users can sign up for a free month in-app or at www.mvmnt.com.

Don’t forget, once the freebie ends you’ll pay £14.99.
