If you’re ready for cosy jumpers, slippers and hot drinks under a blanket, you’re not alone, because it seems we’re all ready to start getting into the autumn spirit. To kick start your new autumn wardrobe, Next’s brand new Charcoal Grey Hamish The Highland Cow Print Borg Half Zip Fleece has just landed, and you can get your hands on it for just £30.

The fleece is part of Next’s signature Hamish the Highland Cow range which typically includes bedding and home decor. However now you can wear the adorable mascot on your cosy fleece, with shoppers raving about how soft and cosy it is.

It’s made from 100% recycled polyester with a soft, fleecey finish that’s equal parts warm and comfortable. You can wear it as a mid layer underneath an oversized jacket on those particularly cold days, or on its own for in-between weather when you want to be warm but not too hot.

The half zip fastens into a high funnel neck for added cosiness, and it features side pockets that are handy for storing your keys, phone or anything else you want to hand. The Charcoal Grey Hamish The Highland Cow Fleece stops at hip length which is great for layering and keeping the heat in without restricting yourself.

Whilst the Hamish print is undeniably adorable, if you want a different country-inspired print you could also pick up Columbia’s Helvetia Ii Printed Half Snap Fleece in Yellow for £65 which features a wild horse print across it. Whilst technically a men’s fleece, that just means it’ll be extra roomy and cosy – perfect for snuggling up this autumn.

For a more classic print, New Look’s Brown Checked Borg Jacket is £42.99 and is the perfect fleece-jacket hybrid for autumn layering. Similarly the Noisy May Oversized Check Fleece is £40 and its khaki, cream and burgundy colourway is perfect for nailing the new season colours.

However the Charcoal Grey Hamish The Highland Cow Fleece has already been getting plenty of rave reviews, with a 4.5 star rating. One wrote: “Lovely, cozy and warm. Nice fit and have had lots of comments on how nice it looks.”

Another added: “This is the most amazing jumper I’ve ever bought, so soft and comfy and generous with the size x everyone wants to get one when I show it to them.”

Whilst a third said: “It is soft and fits perfectly. I sized up for a more oversized feel and it was great. It’s comfortable and not too tight. Also having washed the item the material remains the same after being washed and is still as soft and comfortable as before washing.”

In fact the lowest rated review was a three star one that said: “Loved the print, but unfortunately I found the length too short so it looked more like a pyjama top on me rather than an outdoor fleece. Lovely material but style just not for me this time.”

A four star rating wrote: “Lovely the fleece. It’s best to size up for a baggy cosy fit. The design is really cute. It’s very fluffy, perfect loungewear. Love how the zip goes so far down.”
