With the Bank Holiday weekend weather forecast looking rather gloomy, many beauty enthusiasts will be turning to bottled tans for their summer glow. In celebration of the long weekend, Australia’s ‘most loved’ tanning brand is offering a 20% discount with a special code for a limited time – and it’s safer than sunbathing too.

Sun or sunbed tanning involves UV exposure, which harms skin cells and increases the risk of premature ageing, sunspots, and skin cancer. Consequently, self-tan from a bottle is the only safe method to achieve that bronzed look without damaging your skin, reports the Manchester Evening News .

Tanning brand Three Warriors is offering a 20% discount across their website with the code BANKHOLIDAY20 , plus free delivery on orders over £35. Whether you’re planning a weekend getaway, hosting a garden party, or simply relaxing at home, it seems like the perfect chance to stock up on some safe, sunless tanning essentials.

Three Warriors has earned its reputation through luxury, organic self-tan formulations enriched with ingredients such as Tasmanian marine collagen, rose oil, aloe vera, vitamin E and olive oil. Each product is vegan, cruelty-free, and designed to give you a sun-kissed glow without any of the dreaded orange undertones.

One of the brand’s most sought-after items is the Hydrating Organic Gradual Tan , a favourite among those seeking a streak-free, buildable glow. This multi-award-winning gradual tan is a best-seller, adored for its extremely hydrating properties, ease of application and natural colour.

Hydrating organic Gradual Tan with nutrient-rich, skin-loving ingredients for a buildable all-year-round glow. This multi-award-winning gradual tan is a best-seller, loved for its extremely hydrating properties, ease of application and natural colour.

The formula is designed to be beginner-friendly, offering a smooth, streak-free application. Plus, it works to even skin tone, promising ‘no fake tan scent’ and a flawless finish that ‘gently fades’. Usually £34.99, the code takes it down to £28.

Of course, there are hundreds of tanning brands out there, including the St.Tropez Self Tan Express Mousse, known for its week-long, natural-looking, streak-free, and flawless results, available at Boots for £34.

Another option is the Bondi Sands Self Tanning Foam One Hour Express Ultra Dark , which boasts an impressive 4.86-star rating on LookFantastic for its rapid absorption, ‘quick turnaround’, and ‘super bronzed’ finish ‘without being too orange toned for patchy’. It’s currently on offer for £13.99, down from £19.99.

But boasting more than 825 rave reviews and a near-perfect 4.9-star rating, it’s clear that Three Warriors is a beloved product, winning over even the most cautious tanners.

One first-time user revealed: “I am new to fake tan but I am completely converted after using Three Warriors’ gradual tan. I just use it on my arms and legs for a nice summer glow when I’m out running and it does the trick. My husband was convinced I’d been out in the sun.”

Another customer raved about not just the colour result but also the fragrance and texture: “Never have I used a tanning product which smells so good, doesn’t transfer to clothes and bed sheets, moisturises my skin beautifully and leaves me with a natural sun kissed skin. I can control the intensity of my tan, which I love. I have ordered a lot as I received a 20 percent off email, so I took advantage.

“I love the gradual tan and the mousse. The mousse gives me my base whilst I can maintain it with my gradual tan. Love love love these products. I also love that there are no orange tinges to my tan. My friend thought I had been sun baking.”

Even experienced tanners are making the change. As one buyer explained: “I love this tan a million times more than the other five brands I have in my cupboard. It blends so well and looks incredibly natural.”

Nevertheless, some customers have discovered the product sticks to parched patches. They shared a tepid review stating: “It’s great but no matter how hard I try, the skin around my ankles always darkens more than legs.” Three Warriors suggests applying the Gradual Tan to clean, exfoliated skin using long, sweeping strokes to prevent this issue.

The tanning product has also impressed older customers: “I am in my late 60s and have never been a regular user of ‘non sun tanning’ . I decided to try Three Warriors before I head to Mauritius for a holiday. We are not going until July, but I have already been trialling it and I am really impressed with how natural it looks on my legs. Could not be happier and it will definitely give me the confidence I need for wearing bathers.”

If you’re looking to mix up your tanning routine, the Hydrabronze Face Tan Drops are ideal for those who want their glow to feel as effortless as their daily moisturiser. Meanwhile, the Three Warriors Self-Tan Mousse is another customer favourite. It’s perfect for building a deeper base colour quickly and can be topped up with the gradual tan for maintenance.

Dubbed as an effortless-to-use, fast-drying mousse that quickly absorbs into the skin to provide instant, natural-looking colour. Its moisturising formula boasts a vanilla and lime fragrance, and it can be left on for an hour for a sun-kissed glow. Alternatively, for a richer, more intense colour, leave for up to five hours to develop.

The Self-Tan Mousse, which is part of the special offer, boasts an almost flawless rating of 4.9 out of five stars, according to 556 reviews.

One customer commented: “Three Warriors is the only brand of tanner I’ve used for years now. The result is so consistent and even when using the mit. It’s quite a subtle tan when left for a few hours and a golden glow if you leave overnight. It lasts flawlessly for a week with colour still there for two. If you take care of it it’s not patchy when fading either. And I love that it’s a safer ingredient list.”

Another added: “So natural, l don’t have to pay big money at my beauticians anymore. l was so worried it was going to go orange.

“This is such an amazing product. It’s such a natural glow. I have been away on holidays and it has lasted for over a week and still looks great,” wrote a third. One chuffed customer gushed: “This is the only tanner I now use! It gives the most gorgeous natural colour – I leave mine on for about 3 hours. Also the fading tan look is great, nothing like the ‘snake skin’ look I’ve had with other tans. Love this product!”.

However, not everyone was as thrilled, with one person noting: “The smell is amazing and the application is simple. I found that it wasn’t as fast drying as implied and it was incredibly sticky to the touch for the full development time that I had it on. After 3 hours I had to wash it off because I couldn’t bear the sticky feeling any longer.”

Yet another satisfied user said: “Fantastic colour no streaks great tan. Everyone asks me where I got my tan from. Will always repurchase.”

Both are included in the bank holiday promotion, making this the perfect time to try them with the code BANKHOLIDAY20. The offer ends on August 25.
