The feud between brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher appears to be well and truly over amid the ongoing Oasis Live ’25 Tour – with the younger sibling making a surprise offer to his big brother
Liam Gallagher has extended an unexpected offer to his brother Noel – after the ended more than a decade of feuding to reunite Oasis last year. The brothers famously fell out in 2009 and bitterly took shots at each other in the press, interviews and online over the following years.
Despite insisting they would never perform together again, hell apparently froze over in 2024 as the Gallagher’s announced they had buried the hatchet in order to reform Oasis and hit the road in their first world tour since their explosive fallout 15 years prior. Said tour, the inventively named Oasis Live ’25 Tour, kicked off at the beginning of July and to call it a success would be an understatement.
And things are going so well that 52-year-old Liam seems to be in charitable spirit – with a report suggesting he has invited older brother Noel, 58, to join him for Christmas. Proud mum Peggy, 82 – who watched her boys perform in Dublin earlier this month – is also expected to join the family reunion.

A source told The Sun: “Liam wants to make Christmas extra special this year following their hugely-successful tour. He is hoping to get all the family together as they take a well-earned rest.
“Liam and Noel have loved seeing their own kids spend time together during their tour and would love to get everyone around the dinner table.” The Mirror has contacted representatives of Liam and Noel for comment.
Oasis have been enjoying rave reviews and sell out gigs at their run of concerts – which have so far taken them around the UK and Ireland. On Sunday night, they will play their first North American gig by thrilling fans at the Rogers Stadium in Toronto, Canada.
While further gigs will take them to the USA, Australia, Asia, and South America. Music fans have lapped up the shows so far – which were favourably reviewed by The Mirror.
Showbiz Editor Mark Jefferies gave a glowing review when Oasis played homecoming gigs at Heaton Park in Manchester- admitting he was blown away by the performance.
He recounted: “On Saturday night at the end of the show the brothers hugged and then Noel pointed over to his brother in a clear show of admiration and to tell the crowd just how much he loved Liam’s performance. It was a shocking sight, the total opposite of their old rows on stage.”
Having managed to attend three of the first four gigs of the Oasis tour by that point, Mark added: “Would I like more stage interaction? Of course. And some of the lines on stage are now pre-planned which doesn’t feel very Oasis. But the Gallaghers have grown up, and like their mature fans who can only manage to jump up and down for the odd song in three these days, this style of set is what they need to make things work.”
While Daniel Bird attended the opening night at the Manchester venue, and described the evening as “electric”.
He wrote: “Walking out at Heaton Park, you could never have imagined that there was once a feud between the two siblings. Putting on a united front, the two legends walked out to their 2000 track, F***in’ In The Bushes, to a crowd of 80,000 people, with the atmosphere instantly becoming electric.”
