Transform your patio or balcony into a Greek paradise with this Bougainvillaea Patio Tree. Known for adding a vibrant splash of colour to courtyards and verandas across the continent, this Bougainvillaea is the perfect way to make a statement and add an exotic touch to your outdoor space – and even better, it won’t break the bank, as this Bougainvillaea tree is currently available for the budget-friendly price of £25 in the Gardening Express sale.

This striking tree produces such a vast array of flowers each year that it seems to vanish under its own beautiful pink bouquet. If you’ve ever holidayed in the Mediterranean, you’re likely familiar with the pink clouds of Bougainvillaea, our Shopping Writer, Meghan, says they were “absolutely everywhere” when she travelled to Greece. And now you can transform your own home into a Mediterranean dream without spending a fortune.

The Bougainvillaea hails from South Africa and is a true sun lover, making it a fantastic way to add a show-stopping and vibrant bloom of colour during the summer months. Ideally, it should be placed in a sunny, sheltered spot on the patio, courtyard, or balcony, but it can also be planted in the garden.

Supplied in an approximately 4-5 litre container with an overall height of roughly 80-90cms and bursting with vibrant colour when in season, this Bougainvillaea can transform a sunny patio into a Mediterranean paradise. This semi-evergreen climber offers dazzling pops of colour in the summer months, blooming bold clusters of papery magenta-purple flowers.

This tender perennial can be grown outside during the summer months and then brought into a conservatory, heated greenhouse or sunny windowsill indoors when temperatures drop.

Usually retailing for £39.99, this Bougainvillaea patio tree is currently available from Gardening Express for the discounted price of £24.99 while stocks last.

If you’d rather shop elsewhere, you can find this Bougainvillaea Red on Trellis from You Garden, with prices starting at £29.99. Meanwhile, if you want that stunning and vibrant colour but fancy a more British flower, you can find this Pink Climbing Rose Bush for £26.99.
