‘Passengers kept saying one thing so I ditched cabin crew job to make 6 figures a month’

A former cabin crew worker has opened up about what it was like ditching her 14-hour shifts for a new life where she earns six-figures a month and travels the world – and insists former colleagues are jealous of her

A former flight attendant has opened up about ditching her job for a new passion which has changed her life for the better. Many of us are working super hard but also struggling with the expensive cost of living and waiting for the next pay slip. One 22-year-old woman was working as cabin crew and earning £29,000 a year, but after making the decision to leave and pursue a new venture, she now earns six-figures a month.

Alanna Pow was working 14-hour shifts most days for three years of her life. While she enjoyed her job, the commitment took over her life. Alanna shared: “The hours I worked as a flight attendant were crazy – I would do 140 hours per month sometimes. And while I love flying, it ruined my body and my health because of a lack of routine like irregular eating times and other habits, and the horrible plane food.”

Often on flights people would tell her she looks like a model, she claims – and it made her consider if she should pursue a career in that industry. The social media star, who now boasts over three million Instagram followers, now rakes in a whopping £110,000 per month thanks to her saucy online content.

“It has dramatically changed my life,” said Alanna, who earns 45 times more money per month than she was before.

Alanna shared: “Passengers would always ask for my OnlyFans before I had it. They’d give me their business cards – it was like they were recruiting people on the plane. They’d assume I made adult content because of my body type and big boobs.”

Speaking about what it was like starting out, she said: “When I started out on the adult platform, it was crazy how easy it felt – it was like I was made to do the job. But I never imagined my success at this level. I have always loved social media and taking photos so I’m happy I fell into it.”

While Alanna is much happier in her new line of work, she admits she is pleased that she had a “normal” job for character building before starting Only Fans.

She said: “I can’t ever go back to that but I am grateful I worked a normal job and didn’t go straight into what I do now. But I was definitely very tempted. I’m glad I gave myself three years to discover what I really wanted to do.”

Alanna said her world has been “flipped upside down” since joining OnlyFans.

Alanna, who is from Australia but lives in Bali, now uses her hefty pay checks to go on five holidays a year. This year alone, she has been to Africa, South America, North America twice and Asia. She has also been able to enjoy business class flights as a treat.

When she started out, Alanna was making £5,000 a month and her audience was mainly made up of pilots. She now utilises her former career by doing flight attendant role play videos and has a costume that she wears.

Since her modelling career took off, Alanna has also splashed out £38,000 on plastic surgery, including two Brazilian bum lifts to make her backside more in proportion to her chest and a nose job in Turkey. She is also about to buy her second home and wants to keep her mum living “comfortably”.

Alanna said: “As I bank up my savings, my goal is to send money to my mum so she can live comfortably.”

Alanna admits she has seen her former colleagues since leaving her job as cabin crew.

She said: “When I catch up with friends who are flight attendants, I tell them I don’t know how they do it. I never use the call bell or ask for things when I travel but I love chatting to cabin crew and finding out where they’re from. They’ll give me free food and drinks.

“Some old colleagues gossiped about me doing OnlyFans but I don’t have any bad blood with them. They’re just jealous.”
