Emmy Awards 2025: Full list of winners including Adolescence star and Severance actress

The Emmy Awards at the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles was a huge night for Netflix British drama Adolescence as Owen Cooper made history and Stephen Graham was also recognised

Adolescence and The Studio were among the big winners at Sunday night’s Emmy Awards.

Owen Cooper, who played Jamie Miller, the 13-year-old accused of murder, in Adolescence made history by becoming the first ever male winner of an acting Emmy at the ceremony in Los Angeles. It was one of five awards the Netflix British drama celebrated, as his co-star and its co-creator Stephen Graham won Lead Actor in a Limited or Anthology Series.

And The Studio, a satirical cringe comedy on Apple TV, broke an Emmy Awards record for wins by a comedy in a season. It picked up 13 awards, including Seth Rogen’s gong for Best Actor in a Comedy Series. Seth, 43, joked about how he had “never won anything in [his] life” as he took to the stage to collect the accolade.

Owen, from Warrington, Cheshire, beat co-star Ashley Walters to the award for Supporting Actor. Addressing the crowd at the Peacock Theatre, the humble teen said: “Honestly, when I started these drama classes a couple years back, I didn’t expect to be even in the United States, never mind here. So I think tonight proves that if you, if you listen and you focus and you step out your comfort zone, you can achieve anything in life.”
