Horror as police find six dumped bodies bound and wrapped in plastic

By staff18 September 2025No Comments3 Mins Read

Police believe the six people discovered Jalisco, Mexico, were murdered in the city of Zacatecas before they were tied up, wrapped in plastic, and their faces covered.

Police have been asked to launch an investigation after the bodies of six people wrapped in plastic with their faces covered and tied up were allegedly found in a crime hotbed.

Authorities believe the victims, four men and two women, were murdered before their bodies were brutally abandoned. Local police said the people were murdered in the Mexican city of Zacatecas, in the centre of the country, and dumped in the Jalisco territory. Despite this, the Zacatecas government has clashed with the local Attorney General’s Office and disagreed with the relocation hypothesis.

Rodrigo Reyes Mugüerza, Zacatecas’s general secretary, said: “Neither the Ministry of Public Security nor the State Attorney General’s Office confirmed the alleged discovery.”

Authorities have asked police to launch an investigation into the horror discovery. Mugüerza added: “We share the vision and opinion of the constitutional governor of the state of Jalisco, Pablo Lemus Navarro, that it would be appropriate for the Attorney General’s Office to bring this case.”

Among the disagreement between police and local authorities, an explanation behind these shocking deaths has not been revealed, according to Infobae.

Mugüerza said the priority for authorities at the moment was to find the people responsible for the six deaths and for dumping their bodies.

The part of the Jalisco region where the bodies were abandoned is known for being close to several other states and as a hotbed for criminal activities and groups.

This comes as Mexican officials beg Donald Trump not to pursue the world’s most wanted drug lord in fear that violence could spill through into the World Cup. The 2026 FIFA World Cup will come to Canada, the US and Mexico in less than a year as fans from across the globe will descend on North and Central America.

There are fears in Mexico that the Trump administration’s pursuit of Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes – also known as El Mencho – could lead to a violent overspill.

The Mexican government asked US Attorney General Pam Bondi to refrain from capturing or killing the cartel leader. US officials however are concerned over the power of the Jalisco Carel that holds businesses and several arms of the state in its grasp or influence.

A high-ranking Jalisco cartel official recently revealed that Oseguera’s bodyguards include elite commandos from Russia as well as state-of-the-art weapons, according to Milenio. A major strike against the drug lord would prove to be potentially disastrous for Guadalajara, one of the three main venues hosting international matches.

Mexico intends to put a pause to hostilities ahead of the World Cup, which would mean suspending hunts for cartel members as long as they stay quiet during the world’s largest sporting event.
