With the weather turning and autumnal bugs abounding, it’s no wonder so many shoppers are looking for a supplement that keeps energy levels up, gut health in order and helps boost immunity to boot. Handily the Glow Dust – Starter Kit from wellness brand Spacegoods claims to do the lot in one daily powder.

A monthly subscription of the pink collagen and mushroom super blend – which is vegan-friendly – costs £39 for 30 servings a month, or, for those keen to give it a try before signing up long term, a one-off purchase is £49 for 30 servings. Savvy shoppers can also get 10% off their first order with the code: GLOW10.

To make, tip one scoop of the powder into a cup, add 250ml of cold water (although some people pour in milk or oat milk, or mix it with yoghurt or into a smoothie instead), whisk and drink. Taste-wise, expect a fruity sweetness, even though it’s actually sugar-free.

When it comes to what’s actually in Glow Dust and what it’s doing for health, it’s packed with scientifically-backed ingredients. Featuring a 6-in-1 formula, it specifically targets six aspects of a person’s health and beauty. First up, iron, B6 and B12 vitamins help zap tiredness and emotional burnout, giving energy levels and mood a welcome boost.

Vitamins D, C and zinc are included to bolster immunity (handy with winter coming) and the gut is looked after by several prebiotics (great for a healthy gut microbiome) plus apple fibre and calcium 12.

They say this all-in-1 blend has six health benefits.

Hormone health is covered too, thanks to red algae calcium, vitamin K2 and a range of B-vitamins, while collagen helps out skin, hair and nails, and last but not least, tremella mushroom, Vitamin E, acerola and goji promote healthy ageing. The idea is, shoppers are left feeling full of energy and really rather glowy.

“Glow Dust isn’t about fad diets or quick fixes for flaws. It was created on a simple belief; that real glow starts from within, and that you deserve to feel good in yourself, every single day,” says Spacegoods. “Whether your hormones are wreaking havoc, you’re getting ill or run down more often, or you’re just feeling flat and frazzled, Glow Dust is designed to help you get energised, radiant and in sync. As well as improving your skin, hair and nails – which you’d expect from a collagen based product.”

For an alternative, try Revive Collagen’s Concentration & Clarity, from £38.80. It is pricier than Glow Dust, but comes as a liquid in little pouches you can sip on the go. It claims to be the first ‘functional mushroom blend with 6,000mg Type 1 marine collagen’ and is packed with lion’s mane and himematsutake mushroom for focus and concentration, ashwagandha and reishi mushroom for a sense of calm, and Irish sea moss, vitamin C and that marine collagen to support skin and brain health.

Or try the Ancient + Brave Matcha + Collagen 150g Tub on Amazon for £34. It’s designed to pep up skin, hair and nails and has a hint of cinnamon in it, so should be super tasty. Plus, it offers an extra protein boost first thing in the morning.

One customer said of Glow Dust: “Tastes great and makes me feel amazing! I have energy without feeling anxious, crashing or having trouble sleeping. Highly recommend!”

A second said: “Product tastes delicious I’m only 4 days in but feeling more alive already. I reported an issue today with my cup and it was dealt with on the same day and a new cup is being sent out. Great service and speedy response.”

A third said: “This stuff is excellent. I drink one of these every day around about 10am it’s the perfect pick me up mid morning. The taste is quite salty but considering it contains electrolytes I fully expected that. Certainly stops me from having a soft drink at that time of day! The added benefit of fully hydrating yourself is amazing too and very noticeable, my skin feels so soft (obviously there’s more to it than this but drinking this definitely attributes to it).”

However, one shopper flagged: “Love the different flavours to try. Didn’t like watermelon! Need different flavours for that one! The whisk is good but every cup i use it in the drink flo2s over the top”

Another added: “Really tasty as a cold drink made with oat milk. It was a little too sweet for me to have as a hot chocolate drink.”

The Glow Dust – Starter Kit from Spacegoods is available now.
