Here is everything you need to know about how to watch Chelsea vs Brighton this weekend as both sides look to fire themselves up the Premier League table
Chelsea will be aiming to build momentum with a win over Brighton this weekend. Enzo Maresca’s side reacted to last week’s defeat to Manchester United with a win over Lincoln City in the Carabao Cup, but the Blues will be eager to get points on the board in the Premier League.
Brighton could pose a tricky test for Maresca’s team as the their sole league victory so far came against Manchester City last month. The Seagulls will also be flying high after another emphatic cup win in midweek.
Brighton boss Fabian Hurzeler would have been delighted to watch his side’s 6-0 away win at Barnsley on Tuesday, as Diego Gomez stole the show with a four-goal haul. The result follows Brighton’s victory over Oxford United by the same scoreline in the previous round.
Meanwhile, Chelsea were given an early scare in their cup run as Lincoln went in 1-0 up at half-time. Fortunately for Maresca, quick-fire goals from Tyrique George and Brighton loanee Facundo Buonanotte shortly after the interval spared Chelsea’s blushes.
Chelsea and Brighton now turn their attention back to the Premier League. Here, Mirror Football looks at all the information needed for the clash between Chelsea and Brighton.
