Primark fans have ‘no words’ after spotting ‘cutest’ £8 winter item

The retailer has delighted shoppers with a cosy new winter accessory that’s caught lots of attention

Primark shoppers say they “need” a new £8 item after the “cute” winter accessory went viral. The retailer has delighted fans stocking up on cold-weather essentials by introducing a Sausage Dog Hot Water Bottle.

The £8 home accessory is described as a “long hot water bottle with sausage dog cover.” The hot water bottle went viral when it was showcased in a popular video by TikTok user @bethanysarahmcalpine. In her trending post, Bethany wrote: “Primark I’ve no words.”

Viewers were just as impressed, and the video caught lots of attention from keen shoppers. The post earned 1.7k views and over 225,000 likes in a matter of days.

One stunned commenter said: “I thought it was real.” Another fan said: “I need.” Someone else praised: “Primark is Primarking.” Meanwhile, a shopper wrote: “Adoro.”

More praise read: “WOAH.” A fan commented: “OMGGG.” Someone added: “SO CUTE,” and a shopper wrote: “I know what I’m buying my mum for Christmas.” A similar reply saw a commenter tag their friend, writing: “I found the best thing for u.”

It’s not the only hot water bottle in Primark’s latest range. The retailer offers a variety of hot water bottles, as showcased in a video shared by @liverpoolprimrktrends showing some of the new designs.

The video featured the sausage dog hot water bottle, as well as a £7 teddy bear version. The caption said: “Cutest hot water bottles.” The video was very popular. It gained over 350,000 views and more than 33,000 likes.

Several viewers said they wanted to shop the accessories. One fan commented: “I want the dog one so bad.” A second said: “Trip to primark I need the dachshund.”

A third wrote: “We need to go liverpool christmas shopping.” A fourth replied: “I fear I need this.” A fifth said: “The dog though.” Someone else shared: “I’ve got the middle one rn.” Another shopper said: “Bought the daschund one today.”

Meanwhile, there were several comments from shoppers who couldn’t buy the hot water bottle but really wanted to get their hands on it. For instance, one fan asked: “Can someone buy me the dachshund? We don’t have them here.” Another disappointed viewer wrote: “I want the dog but live in Sweden.”

Alternatively, Primark stocks a £10 Dachshund Shaped Cushion, a £3.50 Halloween Dog Plant, and £3 3pk Dog Crew Socks. For dog lovers, there’s also £9 Women’s Dog Print Family Christmas Pyjamas, £9 Men’s Dog Print Family Christmas Pyjamas, and £5 1.5-15yrs Kid’s Dog Print Family Christmas Pyjamas. The pyjamas are described as “a pair of full-length Christmas PJs with an all-over holiday dog print.”
