Strictly Come Dancing’s controversial contestant Thomas Skinner has launched another social media rant as he hit out at former Big Brother star Narinder Kaur again
Thomas Skinner has gone on a social media rant once again as he took time out from Strictly Come Dancing training. The Apprentice star, 34, caused controversy when he signed up to the hit BBC dance competition following his political views and outspoken opinions.
He went on to stir up more drama at the press launch for the show when he snatched a journalist’s phone and stormed off. Since then, Thomas has been paired with beloved dancer Amy Dowden, which also caused outrage with some fans.
However, Thomas has remained certain he deserves a spot on the dancefloor and has been busy training with Amy. On Wednesday, he took to X to share an update from rehearsals where he revealed he’s lost a stone in weight already.

Yet just a couple hours later, he returned to the platform with a message that appeared to hit out at Big Brother star Narinder Kaur. She had said Thomas was “too controversial” for Strictly and in his latest post, he shared a clip from when they both appeared on Good Morning Britain.
In the segment on the ITV morning show, they debated if people are ashamed to be English. Alongside the clip, Thomas wrote: “I love this beautiful country and all you lovely people with all my heart.”
In what seemed to be a nasty swipe at Narinder he added: “I’m fed up with all these lunatics moaning about being proud of where your from and trying to cause a massive division between people…. It ain’t what we are about.
“We should be proud, united, and always fly our flag with pride. God bless you all. I’m going to bed and bringing back this little golden oldie video for you all to enjoy. Dancing in the morning. Let’s have it. Bosh.”
Back in August, Narinder had addressed Thomas’ signing as she said: “Apparently I was deemed too controversial for @bbcstrictly because they only hire quiet brown and black women that fit in a box.
“But you can be a white man AND be controversial and you’ll be hired on the spot! Hello Thomas Skinner!! #BBCStrictly your unconscious bias and prejudicial views against British brown women is disgraceful.”
Narinder added that she was ‘raging’ with the broadcaster: “They wouldn’t take me on, we approached them and they said that I was too controversial. They put brown women and black women on who are quiet because that’s the kind of brown and black woman their audience likes.
“But God forbid you’re a brown woman who has some opinions, then they’ll never take you on. But if white man, Thomas Skinner, proud patriot, Thomas Skinner, of the online right, who has got a criminal past, they’ll take you on!”
At the time, Thomas hit back with a statement as he wrote: “Narinder, I respect that you stand up for what you believe in, not everyone’s got the guts to do that. Yes, I’ve got a past, but I’m not here to divide people.
“I’m just trying to get people to believe in themselves and realise they can do more than they think. Life can be so much better when you let happiness in and don’t always be angry towards others.
“If I’ve ever upset you, I’m sorry… that’s never been my intention. I wish ya nothing but peace, happiness, and a life you can truly enjoy. Bosh.”
