With gym memberships costing a pretty penny and gyms not being the best suited for everyone’s workout style, shoppers have found plenty of ways to get their cardio in at home, including a walking pad. These treadmills can be easily placed in front of a standing desk or in front of the TV, allowing you to get your daily steps in without needing to leave the comfort and privacy of your own home. Additionally, remote workers have discovered that these gadgets allow them to stay fit while also completing their work.

If you’re concerned about a walking pad coming with a hefty price tag, you’re in luck, as Amazon’s early Prime Day deals have slashed the Merach Walking Pad by a massive £60, saving shoppers 40%.

This 3-in-1 walking pad features an aerospace-grade alloy frame that supports a capacity of up to 265 lbs while weighing only 28 lbs (40% lighter than traditional treadmills), allowing for effortless portability. Plus, this model is space-saving and perfectly suited for under-desk-friendly storage with its compact dimensions of 43.1” x 18.5” x 4.5”, making it an ideal choice for home offices or small spaces.

The Walking Pad Treadmill features a seamless one-piece ABS+PC shell that eliminates weak joints and reduces noise, while utilising 100% recyclable materials. Enhanced with shock-absorbing technology inspired by commercial treadmills, this design prioritises both durability and environmental responsibility.

This treadmill is equipped with a 2.5HP commercial-grade motor, delivering smooth speeds ranging from 2.0 to 6.0km/h for walking or light jogging. Operates at just a 50dB noise level, so you can walk while on work calls or in apartments without worrying about noise emitted.

Plus, for a more comprehensive workout, shoppers can sync with the Merach Fitness App to access coach-designed programs, track real-time metrics (distance, speed, calories), and enjoy interactive fitness games, all seamlessly integrated with your Walking Pad.

This Amazon walking pad would normally retail for £139.99 but is currently reduced to the more affordable price of £99.99, thanks to Amazon’s current deals. If you’d prefer to shop elsewhere, consider Home Fitness Code’s Treadmill S1, Speed 1-6KM/H, now £119.99, down from £199.99. Or, Debenhams is offering this Neo Under Desk Portable Walking Pad Treadmill for £97.74, down from £146.65.

The Merach walking pad has garnered plenty of praise from Amazon shoppers, with one 5-star reviewer raving: “Had this item for a little over 2 months and it’s great for losing weight, it’s helped me lose 3st in 2 months and it’s easy to do at work and at home. It’s a super easy workout and very easy to store away. It has numerous app training sessions and it also comes with a remote control too. If mine was to break I would definitely re buy another one it’s well worth the money if you want to lose weight without doing too much”

Another buyer beams: “This is perfect for a raised desk and screen setup. I’m at a point in my life where my large treadmill isn’t used for running due to age and joint issues, but to keep moving during the day when desk-bound, this is great. Also very portable to move into the front room and walk late at evening watching the TV, I could walk outside and do when I can but because of a previous heart attack I don’t like walking alone most times in case of another so this suits my needs well.”

And a third gives a balanced review, writing: “Having already got the Merach rowing machine, which is brilliant, I didn’t hesitate in buying the treadmill. It does not disappoint. Easy set up – the remote bound immediately- and I already had the app, so I just added the new device to it, which again connected straight away. Lovely walking motion, sturdy and a joy to use. My only niggle is the lack of wheels at one end to help move it, as you need to lift it to move – not a problem as it has a permanent position, but if you did want to use it, then put it away, it’s heavy to move. Other than that, I can’t fault it, especially for the price.”

But the adoration is overwhelming as another customer enthuses: “This walking pad is the perfect size for home use. I bought it to stay active while working remotely, and it’s been great—I walk 45-60 minutes daily to improve fitness. It’s quiet, easy to use, and eliminates the need to go outside or to a gym. The space-saving design is ideal for small areas, and the remote control makes adjusting speed simple. I often walk while watching TV—it’s lightweight and easy to move. Since using it, I’ve been much more active. Highly recommend!”
