‘Mediterranean’ breakfast Victoria Beckham eats for slim figure and glowing skin

It’s easy to copy what the former Spice Girl has for breakfast to maintain her looks

Victoria Beckham is back on Netflix with her own self-titled docuseries, which launched on the streaming platform today (October 9). It follows her busy life as she prepares for Paris Fashion Week whilst also charting some of her life and career so far.

The former Spice Girls star turned fashion designer might suggest she treats herself to decadent breakfasts as part of her lavish lifestyle. However, the former pop singer reportedly chooses something that is both simple and nutritious to start off her day.

HELLO Magazine reports that the mum-of-four maintains a consistent diet, with the 51-year-old rarely straying from her normal morning rituals. According to her friend, actress Eva Longoria, Victoria eats a modest meal each morning.

Speaking to MailOnline, Longoria said: “[Victoria] is actually easy because we eat the same breakfast. We both love egg whites and avocado. When we’re together… she makes a great egg whites and avocado.”

Victoria Beckham also previously revealed to The Telegraph that she consumes three or four avocados daily to keep her skin’s radiance, as reported by the Express. Avocados are a great addition to the Mediterranean diet due to their high content of healthy monounsaturated fats, similar to olive oil. They are also loaded with fibre and essential nutrients such as folate and potassium.

By abandoning the egg yolk, the nutritional makeup of this everyday essential shifts dramatically. The yolk holds most of the egg’s calories, fat and cholesterol.

At first glance, removing the yolk—which represents nearly half of the egg’s protein content—might appear counterproductive. However, a Healthline report claims that egg whites, due to their substantial protein content, can help boost protein consumption without significantly affecting calorie intake.

Egg whites can be a weight-loss wonder. They are packed with protein that keeps you feeling full and helps build muscle, all while being low in calories, fat, and cholesterol. This perfect balance of protein and calories allows you to up your protein intake without piling on the pounds, helping maintain a trim physique.

Victoria reportedly often pairs her lean egg whites with avocado, another nutritional powerhouse, ensuring her breakfast is not only low in calories but also nutritionally balanced. According to BBC Good Health, an 80g serving of avocado includes 152kcal, 1.5g protein, 3.6g fibre, and around 360mg of potassium.

Avocados have become a must-have in the diets of many celebs, from royalty like King Charles to reality TV stars such as Kourtney Kardashian. This green superfood is loaded with essential nutrients, vitamins, and minerals that contribute to overall health.

Avocado can be a skin saviour thanks to its healthy fatty acids, vitamins (like E, C, and A), and antioxidants that nourish, boost hydration, and protect against ageing and sun damage. Eating avocados aids in collagen production and enhances skin elasticity, while applying avocado oil directly to the skin moisturises, softens, and soothes it.

Its high concentration of vitamin E promotes healthy skin and eyes and strengthens the immune system. While avocados might seem high in fat, they are actually monounsaturated fats, which studies suggest can help fend off heart disease.

According to a recent study, avocados, with their high fat and fibre content, are a great choice for those looking to manage or lose weight. However, turning brown once cut open is a common problem.

Several people have shared ‘life hacks’ that could prolong the life of this popular fruit if it is cut and stored in a certain way. A popular home hack Instagram account (@jimmy_laura_astuces) has claimed that the way you slice your avocado can significantly affect how long it stays fresh.

Instead of the usual top-to-bottom lengthwise cut, they suggest cutting it widthwise, across the middle. This leaves half the seed intact and has a smaller exposed surface area, making it a perfect fit for a small container like a mug.

People can copy Victoria’s breakfast without breaking the bank, either, as it costs just over £1 to whip up a serving when shopping at Aldi. The supermarket sells Large Ripe and Ready Avocados for 88p and a pack of Medium free-range eggs for £1.55 (working out at roughly 26p per egg).
