Spice Girl and fashion designer Victoria Beckham has set the record straight on her ‘Posh’ lifestyle as she admitted to flying on budget airlines and picking up dog poo
Victoria Beckham has opened up on the surprisingly down to earth life despite her Posh title as she admitted to flying Ryanair, talked about shopping at Lidl and picking up dog poo. However, one very normal household chore is off her list.
The Spice Girl turned fashion designer, 51, has enjoyed a life of luxury thanks to her hard work and success. She benefits from her fashion empire as well as husband David’s equally successful career on and off the pitch.
Victoria has given fans an even closer look into her home with David and their children – Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper – thanks to her very own Netflix series. Her family joined her for a glitzy red carpet premiere in London, yet eldest son Brooklyn was nowhere to be seen amid the rumoured fallout.

Posh Spice’s own documentary follows on from David’s two years ago where she appeared in a clip that went viral. Her Goldenballs husband humourously ripped into her for downplaying her upbringing before she admitted her dad drove a Rolls Royce.
Now, Victoria has set the record straight on how Posh she really is. Speaking ahead of the premiere at her flagship store, Victoria was quizzed on if she’d ever shopped at Lidl.
She replied: “No, but my mum shops there.” In another candid confession, Victoria was asked if she picks up her dog poo as she quipped: “Of course I do! I hate it when people leave it lying around in the park, awful!”
Victoria was then asked by the Sun if she had ever flown with budget airline EasyJet as she surprisingly shared: “Yes, loads! I’ve even flown RyanAir!” However, one day-to-day task has slipped out of Victoria’s hands for decades as she admitted to never doing the vacuuming.
When quizzed on the last time she picked up a vacuum, it became clear she’s not had to take on the task since 1997 – the year she met David. She admitted her husband “Mr Clean” does all the vacuuming around their homes.
The famous family reportedly own three properties – their £36.6m Holland Park home in London, their £5.6m Cotswolds estate and a £17.9m penthouse in Miami’s One Hundred Museum. All three feature in Netflix’s Victoria Beckham as the cameras follows Posh and her family.
On the show, Victoria opens up on her entire life, from her childhood to her life as a pop star, as well as life with famous husband David and her fashion career.
She has also delved into heartbreaking body image issues and how some of her experiences as a young girl had shaped her negative thoughts about herself.
“I didn’t look like a lot of the other girls. That’s where I started getting a lot of criticism about my appearance, my weight,” she said, while discussing her time at theatre school as a teenager.
“I remember the principle of the theatre school saying to me, you know, at the end of the show we are going to just fly in. ‘You girls can be flown in’, meaning that we weren’t looking as aesthetically pleasing as some of the others, ‘so we’ll just fly you in the back’,” she also recalled.
The star’s mum Jackie was told her daughter was “overweight” and this would mean she would be “at the back” of the performance. “I really started to doubt myself and not like myself and because I let it affect me, I didn’t know what I saw when I looked in the mirror,” Victoria sadly added.
