Brit OnlyFans model jailed after trying to smuggle £200K of drugs to holiday hotspot

By staff11 October 2025No Comments3 Mins Read

British OnlyFans content creator Clara Wilson, 36, had been jailed in Spain after she attempted to smuggle £200,000 worth of cannabis from Thailand to Barcelona

A British OnlyFans model has been thrown in prison abroad after trying to smuggle £200,000 worth of drugs to a major holiday hotspot.

Clara Wilson, 36, was arrested at Barcelona’s El Prat airport with more than 34 kilos of cannabis in her suitcase. The OnlyFans creator, from Huthwaite, Nottinghamshire, travelled to Spain from Thailand before she was caught. The Brit had been remanded to a local jail by an investigating judge but public prosecutors, in March, wanted her caged for four years and fined more than £750,000.

Today, it emerged the OnlyFans model put her hands up as part of a plea bargain deal, after being offered a more lenient punishment ahead of her full trial.

Wilson was arrested at the Catalan capital’s El Prat airport as she got off a flight from Bangkok. Police held her after finding 60-vacuum packed packages containing a green-coloured substance weighing 34,074 grams, which tested positive for marijuana.

Public prosecutors, in an indictment drafted before her trial, said: “The drugs were transported by the accused with the intention of selling it to third parties on the black market where its value would have been €213,991.”

Clara, one of a string of young British women to fall foul of the law in airport drug busts in recent months, accepted a three-year prison sentence and a fine matching the estimated value of the cannabis she tried to smuggle into Spain.

The Brit model has been warned she will be jailed for another two months if she fails to pay her six-figure fine. The time she has already served in Brians 1 Prison near Barcelona would be taken into account in determining her extra jail time after sentence.

Her defence lawyer Yaiza Garcia told Barcelona’s Criminal Court Number 23 she wanted the sentence suspended but a state prosecutor opposed the application and a decision was put off to a later date.

An alarming string of Brits travelling from Thailand have been caught with drugs in recent months. Bella Culley, 19, was arrested in Georgia after allegedly taking drugs into the country earlier this year.

Culley, who is six months pregnant, vanished in Thailand before turning up in Georgia where she was arrested at Tbilisi International Airport, in May.

Marijuana and hashish were allegedly found in her luggage. A plea deal for the 19-year-old could see her walk free if a hefty, undisclosed, fine is paid.

The teen’s lawyer said the amount paid would determine the length of sentence – with a possibility of jail time being annulled depending on how much money was handed over.
