‘I tried to hire a witch to haunt my ex but she gave me chilling news instead’

By staff15 October 2025No Comments3 Mins Read

One woman decided to get her own back on her ex by turning spiritual and hiring a witch to do her dirty work – however it didn’t quite go as planned as she was told some truths about herself instead

A woman has confessed that she wanted to get her own back on her ex and hired a witch to cast a spell – but was then told some home truths about herself.

Taking to TikTok, Tallulah Rose, who goes by the username @tallulah.roseb admitted she was “so down bad” over a guy she was dating, and did “what any normal person would do” and hired a witch she’d found on Etsy to cast a spell on him.

She paid the witch, and told her everything that had happened between them, expecting the witch to take her side, but was then brutally told she needed therapy instead of haunting her ex.

Tallulah said she was expecting the witch to do the spell, and just tell her what candles to light and which ceremonies she needed to do, but instead, “she responds to me almost immediately with a big long message about how she’s not going to do the spell and how I needed therapy.”

“She recommended I looked into trauma therapy,” Tallulah added, explaining that the witch suggested she look into “limerence and some self-worth” instead.

“So instead of doing the spell and giving me what I wanted, she was like ‘hey girl you are so down bad and this is such a terrible situation and this guy sounds so bad I’m gonna refund you and you need therapy’,” Tallulah told her followers.

The TikToker then assured anyone who thinks they’re going through a bad breakup that it can’t be anywhere near as traumatic as hers has been.

People were quick to comment on her ordeal, as one person chimed: “Give her a good review. That’s a good witch right there,” and another said: “can we have this witch’s contact info or store name on etsy? she seems like a real deal.”

A third penned: “When an Etsy witch don’t want to help you, you know it’s serious,” and another fellow witch said: “I’ve turned down love spellwork for potential clients before. I pull tarot cards on the situation, if Spirit say the guy needs be firmly chucked in the bin, then I decline and explain why. I will, however, offer the client healing, self love, glow up spells etc instead.”
