As the weather gets colder, shoppers are flocking to buy a new padded coat from M&S. The jacket, which was recently launched online, has quickly become a ‘popular’ item on the Marks and Spencer’s website.

The £60 Rubber Thermowarmth Padded Duvet Jacket is available in two colours – black and dark claret. In addition to different colour options, there are plenty of sizes to choose from, ranging from six to 24.

However, some sizes in the dark claret shade have already sold out. Designed in a regular fit with a standard length for versatile styling, this rubber-look coat also boasts a water repellent finish, offering protection from light rain showers.

On the M&S website, the Rubber Thermowarmth Padded Duvet Jacket appears to be flying off the shelves. The high-street retailer has labelled it as both ‘popular’ and ‘selling fast’.

For those seeking alternative options, New Look is selling the Hooded Cropped Puffer Jacket for £38.99, reports Birmingham Live. It’s available in five colours, including black, brown and off-white, and sizes range from 6-22.

Padded Duvet Jacket

Customers can get the rubber duvet jacket in either black or dark claret on the M&S website.

Meanwhile, Next offers a Shower Resistant Padded Coat online, available in either black or white. Shoppers can opt for a mid-length version for £58, or a longline option that provides extra coverage, priced at £80. Marks and Spencer’s Rubber Thermowarmth Padded Duvet Jacket has received only a few reviews, but all with positive things to say.

One customer said: “I purchased the jacket to wear during the winter when it’s very cold. I’ve tried it on and it’s so cosey and comfortable, can’t wait to wear it. I usually buy size 14 jackets but ordered size 12 in the raspberry colour and it’s a great fit and lovely rich colour and would be able to wear a thin jumper underneath.”

Another shopper wrote: “Excellent quality and over all a really good coat. And I love the colour! Downside being the collar doesn’t sit down which over stimulates me.”

M&S recently unveiled its Beauty Advent Calendar, which costs £60 when shoppers spend £35 on fashion, home or beauty. This means customers who purchase the Padded Duvet Jacket will qualify for the offer.
