Kim Kardashian shared the sweet message her 12-year-old daughter North West sent her on her 45th birthday after the reality star revealed her kids hadn’t seen dad Ye in months
Kim Kardashian has received sweet praise from her daughter North West as the reality TV star celebrates turning 45. Kim shared the cute message her 12-year-old daughter sent her on her Instagram Stories.
Taking to the social media platform, Kim revealed North’s message, which read: “Happy birthday to my mom, I love you so much and I hope you have the best birthday ever. Thank you for always being there for me and supporting me!”
Kim also added an emoji of a smiling and crying face on the upload. The post included an image of the mother-and-daughter duo pouting as North flashed a peace sign in front of the Skims founder.

The post comes after Kim was criticised after allowing her daughter to get a dermal finger piercing. Some went as far as branding her a “bad mother” – claims North clearly doesn’t agree with.
And Kim also recently confessed her kids hadn’t seen their dad, Kanye West in months. The model told the Call Her Daddy podcast: “I raise the kids full time. They live with me and I welcome a great healthy relationship with my kids and their dad, and I think he knows that.
“I push for it all the time, but I also protect them when, you know, it’s time for that. And it goes in waves and phases and it’s a lot of work.”
She added that it’s “probably been a couple months” since they heard from the rapper. And it’s also claimed North had encouraged her mum to “move on” from the controversial star. Kim and Kanye, 48, tied the knot in 2014. However, their marriage soon turned sour, with Kim filing for divorce seven years later, citing irreconcilable differences.
As well as North, the former couple share Saint, nine, Chicago, seven, and Psalm, six. Over the years they have dealt with many ups and downs, with Ye hitting out at the mother of his children on a number of occasions on social media.
While Kim has mainly remained silent on her family affairs, she recently broke her silence in an interview on the Call Her Daddy podcast. She explained how it was her 12-year-old daughter who had told her to get a boyfriend.
Speaking to host Alex Cooper, Kim said how North told her: “It’s time to move on. You need to have a boyfriend now.”
However, Kim has insisted she doesn’t want to be in another relationship at present, admitting: “I am single and I feel totally content.
“I have my kids to raise. I have a life that, like, requires a lot of my attention. And my kids just really need me right now. So I don’t know how I would fit something else in. So I’m just not looking.”
And she confessed the final straw in her marriage to Ye came due to a number of things she hadn’t been dealing with. She added: “I didn’t like the talking bad about my kids’ grandmother, aunts – if someone feels that way, then we shouldn’t be together. You know, airing out a lot of stuff, a lot of personal stuff.”
