Jellycat fans have been left fuming after learning their beloved Bashful Bunny Snow Suit and Bartholemew Bear Snow Suit may only just make it in time for Christmas…
People wanting to buy the Jellycat Bashful Bunny Snow Suit and Bartholemew Bear Snow Suit have been left fuming after a Jellycat superfan noticed an important detail on the company’s website that many hadn’t realised. For many Jellycat collectors, the seasonal releases are something they desperately want to get their hands on. There have already been many launches that sold out very quickly, including the Amuseables Snow Globe and Plum Robin.
But, Jellycat had decided to hold the snow suit editions of the bunny and Bart back, probably knowing the humongous hype that was going to come around them, because they’re both so adorable.
TikTok user @jelly.obsessed shared a “Jellycat coming soon update” that nobody wanted to hear on her page, but some were left confused about the revelation.
“Who has seen the coming soon page on the Jellycat website? Who has been waiting to get their hands on the Snow Suit Bunny and Bartholomew Bear? There is an update on the coming soon page. This drop has been delayed again,” she shared.
She explained “initially these two Jellycats were meant to drop in October,” saying she thought it was around October 13. Then, it was meant to be October 28.
“And now, this is what’s on the coming soon page,” she fumed, as she pointed at a screenshot of the website where it just says “coming November”.
“I’m not sure why this is. If you have any theories, let me know in the comments. But, they are stocked up in local stockists such as Bill and Bert’s,” she said.
“Maybe there could be something new coming before these guys?” she pondered.
However, she did suggest that Jellycat may just “love” to keep people “waiting” for the latest must-have drops.
In the comments, people were left confused, wondering why small stockists have the items in stock, but actual Jellycat do not.
“I don’t get how it’s available in independent stockists but not on the actual website,” one woman penned.
Someone else said they ended up paying “extra” for the product from a local stockist because the Jellycat website kept getting “delayed”.
Superfan @jelly.obsessed said it was “sad” they added money on top, but she explained it “was because of shipping costs and import costs”.
A Jellycat fan wrote: “I got the bunny from my local shop yesterday, but I haven’t got the bear yet.”
“I’m gutted as I wanted Bartholmew bear and was so excited for the 28th, and now we have to wait until November,” somebody seethed.
Others posted pictures of their bunnies and bears that they’d managed to pick up from local stockists, and they looked even cuter than they do on the official website.
It’s worth noting if you do wait and buy the bunny and bear from the official Jellycat website, it’s one per item per customer – and you’ll have to act fast.
Jellycat has been contacted for comment.
