LookFantastic slashes £50 off Stylpro new LED mask that offers scalp and neck treatments

The new Wavelength Pro LED Mask has five functions that treat the face, neck, back and the scalp. Each treatment takes 12 to 15 minutes and shoppers have been raving about the glowing result

LED masks are trending majorly at the moment, with claims stating that the therapy improves skin texture and reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Stylpro has upgraded its mask and launched a Wavelength Pro 5-in-1 LED mask, and it’s now on offer at LookFantastic.

Targeting five concerns with one device, the LED mask is powered by 548 LEDs and can be used on the face, neck, chest, back and scalp. It retails at £249, but shoppers can enjoy £50 off when shopping at LookFantastic, and get it at £199.20.

Instead of a shield-like mask, the Stylpro LED mask uses flexible silicone with patent-pending Silver Reflective Technology so shoppers can use it to enhance the look of skin and support scalp care. It combines red (633 nm), deep red (655 nm), blue (415 nm) and near-infrared (830 nm) wavelength light for 12 to 15-minute treatments.

The new mask also uses the Meniscus Lens System for better eye comfort and improves Lip and Nose Coverage. Founder Tom Pellereau told The Mirror: “The real key is by doing some origami, you will find a way that you could also use it as a neck LED mask covering both neck and decolletage area.

“You can then put it behind and use it on your back, and that’s good for people who suffer from bacne. By choosing blue LED light or the Maintain mode to treat acne-causing bacteria.”

An LED mask that utilises different forms of light to approach your skin’s concerns

As Tom mentioned, the Stylpro Wavelength Pro LED Mask offers 11 skincare modes – six of which focus on the face, four for the neck and back, and one for the scalp.

A 12-week clinical study on 30 volunteers showed that the mask delivers up to a 32% decrease in wrinkle volume, up to an 82% decrease in porphyrins (pigmentation). 96% of volunteers said their skin “looks healthier after using the device”.

Rival brands such as CurrentBody have two LED masks – one for the face and another for hair growth. The LED Hair Growth Helmet is priced at an eye-watering £649.99, despite claiming a 123% increase in hair growth rate over 12 weeks.

Apart from LED therapy, shoppers can also consider microcurrent devices to target sagging jowls, loss of elasticity, puffiness, wrinkles and age spots. The ZIIP Halo, £379.99, is highly recommended by facialists, and celebrities like Margot Robbie and Jennifer Aniston are said to be fans of the nifty tool.

But the Stylpro Wavelength Pro LED Mask is well-received by shoppers, as one mentioned: “With the remote you can choose between ‘face’, ‘neck, chest & back’, and ‘hair’ mode. Within each mode, there are a few options to choose from depending on your needs such as anti-ageing, recovery etc. The mask automatically turns on when plugged into the mask port and automatically turns off when the timer runs out. The charge lasts a fair bit as well. I love that the mask itself can be detached to fit neck & chest, and the head – reducing the need for multiple LED devices.”

Another said: “This feels like a full professional facial right at home. After a few uses, my skin looks brighter, smoother, and more refreshed. This is a must for everyone who loves skincare. It might be a bit expensive, but totally worth it.”

But not everyone finds it “perfect”, as a person noted: “The eye protection pads, while great to reduce glare from the leds and to protect the eyes, are a little uncomfortable to me, and I did not have the straps on super tight either. It may be my face shape, as I have not seen this mentioned in other reviews.

“Also due to only having one master strap that goes behind the head, I find the bottom half of the mask slightly ‘floating’ and not providing the best snug fit – again, probably due to my face shape.”
